What can you tell me about about Cancer's Least Expensive Hope?
There is a new effort against cancer, based around Dichloroacetate. All I will say here is that it's tremendously promising, but there is no money in it for big pharma.
I am starting a website, http://www.dichloroacetate.org./ I want to see how can come up with the most interesting information on dichloroacetate. Something I don't know, or have overlooked, or an opinion I haven't thought of.
For any information, please provide sources.
Thank you kindly.
3 AnswersCancer1 decade agoWould anyone care if there were a potential cancer cure?
I'm just wondering. I've posted two questions now about "dichloroacetate", an extremely cheap, available drug with no side effects that has just been discovered as a potentially formidable treatment to most or all cancers.
I've basically received no relevant responses. I followed that up with a question about the "hottest celebrity". Everyone had an opinion.
Bonus question: why are humans so, so lame?

Ok, it's a dramatic headline. Sorry for that. I want to know if you've heard about dichloroacetate, and what your thoughts are on the discovery and it's economic advantages/shortcomings.

I see a lot of people on here pretend to "ask" questions but actually just make ridiculous statements. Then they pick the only person who's crazy enough to agree with them as the right answer.
I just thought I'd try it too!

Hello,
How can I find the general solution to this equation?
dy/dx = y^2(4 - y^2)
I have several in a similar format to solve. I'm a little stumped :(

1 AnswerTaiwan1 decade agoThe Ultimate Middle East Solution?
I apologize in advance:
This is a statement. Please dicuss however you want:
The way I see it, the solution to the Middle East is a gradual move to alternative energies.
Right now, a racist and former executioner has been "elected" as president of Iran, and constantly hints at wiping out Israel.
I like to believe there is math behind everything, though. Why would he say these things? Sure, he believes them. The reason he's saying them is simply strategy, though. Every time he spouts off insanity, he essentially raises the price of oil.
I see the basic problem as our dependance on oil. Iran may have better things to do than threaten Israel, but because we fear it, creating such insecurity provides them with billions in revenue.
The only way to provide motivation in the Middle East for security is a gradual move to alternative energy.
Imagine if we even spent 10% of military budget on this...
JMHO.
I will not pick the best answer. I will put it to vote.
7 AnswersPolitics2 decades agoGuys...Do you have girlfriends that pick the skin off their fingers?
I'm just wondering. I've had two girlfriends like this now. Sometimes they pick with their nails, sometimes they bite it off. One had permanent scars from it and was biting the scars off. If so...how do you deal with it?
