I have an Admiral top loading washing machine.

For the wash cycle, it will start to fill and run a few seconds, but it won't complete the cycle.

The rinse works perfectly. It will fill, agitate and spin.

What can be wrong and can this be a DIY project or do I need to call in a professional?

It seems that you believe that a prophet can have a book that is divinely inspired. I guess what I don't understand. If you believe Jesus was a prophet why don't you accept every word he says. Shouldn't he have been considered a false prophet and disregarded all together.
