Are there any used book stores in the Little Rock, Arkansas area?
Just moved here and haven't found any. Someone told me Faded Fables Bookshop but apparently they have been closed since 2004.

The British government offered phsyicians incentive pay to offer better customer (patient) service, such as managing appointments better. In particular, physicians can score points by seeing a patient within 48 hours after making an appointment. This year, each point brings 75 pounds; next year; it will be 120. Do you think this is a good incentive payment scheme?

3 AnswersInvesting9 years agoEconomics question - Don't understand the question?
The widget market is competitive and includes no transaction costs. Five suppliers are willing to sell one widget at the following prices $30, $29, $20, $16, $12. Five buyers are willing to buy one widget at the following prices $10, $12, $20, $24, $29. What is the equilibrium price and quantity in this market?
Apparently its 3 widgets at $30. But I don't understand the question at all. The quantity demanded should decrease as the price increases, but it's still 5 at $29 when it's 5 at $12. I don't get it.
3 AnswersEconomics9 years agoEconomics Help: This is an example of an interview question that supposedly has to do with economics...?
You are a basketball coach with five seconds on the clock, and you are losing by two points. You have the ball and can take only one more shot (there is no chance of a rebound). there is a 70% chance of making a two pointer, which would send the game into overtime with each team having an equal chance of winning. There is only a 40% chance of making a three pointer (winning if made). Should you shoot the two or three pointer?
How would you answer this question apparently using Economics? There is some trick here that I'm not seeing...This is a managerial economics question.
2 AnswersEconomics9 years agoI'm thinking of getting a PS3, but I have a question first...?
Do you have to put in a credit card number to get a psn account to play online? The ability to play online for free is one of the main reasons I want a PS3, but I'd rather not have my credit card information on the network since they have had some problems in the past with getting hacked and all...
5 AnswersPlayStation9 years agoMiss Soto answered questions from (whoever, whomever) was interested in temporary work.?
It is the object of the preposition from AND the subject of the dependent clause...objects are whomever and subjects are whoever. This is what I don't understand.
1 AnswerHomework Help1 decade agoJudy will be interviewed by Miss Eddy or by (whoever, whomever) she designates. Is this one whomever?
Should this one be whomever because the clause it is in already has a subject (she)?
2 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agoThe personnel manager told us there were jobs for (whoever, whomever) is trained. Which is correct?
This one is confusing because whomever is supposed to be the object of a preposition like "for" but the clause also needs a subject at the end so it would be whoever. I don't know which one is correct.

From the Sun, what is the distance to the Galaxy's center?
a) about 24 light years, b) 90 light years, c) 1,000 light years, d) 2,000 Ly.
So, I thought I knew the answer to this but it wasn't one of the options. Isn't it around 32,000 light years? I wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. And I wasn't sure if the capital Ly on the 2000 meant something different.
Thanks!

5 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoIf centrifugal force on a pilot is fictitious, why will she pass out when flying a loop that pulls 6g's?
So I understand the centrifugal on the pilot is fictitious because she feels like she is moving outward even though there is no actual force on her outward. The only forces are the centripetal force on her inward and the centrifugal force on the PLANE outward because it is the reaction force to centripetal...
So it seems like the pilot passing out would have nothing to do with centrifugal force at all...and I dont understand why she would pass out in the first place
