I'm 13 and all my friends have their periods, when I don't. A lot of them comment on how it's strange that I don't have my period, since I'm a lot more 'developed' then them. My mom got her period when she 14. Is it normal for me not to have it even though I'm 'developed'? Does the age my mom got it at have anything to do with when I'll get it?

PS, I am not an amateur newcomer who wants to do this just because I love the books. Acting is my life & dream.

I want to be friends with my ex-best friend, Nikki, who told a secret of mine five-years-ago and we just stopped being friends, just like that. Before that, we were practically joined at the hip. We did absolutely everything together. Now, she seems a lot nicer and more trustworthy, and she even friend requested me on Myspace and has said 'sorry' if she bumped into me or she'll say "Thanks Mollie!" if I help her out with any small thing. But the problem is she's one of the most popular girls in school (but that's not at all why I want to be friends with her. I really miss her) and I don't want to seem foolish and embarrass myself. The only way I can think of telling her I want to be friends again is a message on Myspace. But what should I say and how should I say it? I'm so confused! Please help me! Now, it is 5 years later, and she has changed quite a bit, so have I. Sometimes she will say 'sorry' if she bumps into me, something she would never do before. She's thanked me for a few good deeds, and she even requested me to be her friend on Myspace, which I accepted. Last night I had a dream that we became friends again, and I wish that would become reality. She seems a lot nicer now, and I want to tell her I want to put the past behind us and start over. The problem is I have no idea how. Should I message her on Myspace? I don't know her screenname or e-mail, and I have no time to speak to her in school. And if I contact her, what do I say?

Do you see lots of people wearing Uggs, Crocs, Vera Bradley bags, North Face jackets, and those Victoria's Secret pants or shirts that say Pink on them?

I don't have any of those besides Crocs, nor am I wanting to get them. I'm just curious.

This girl in my grade, Shira, is a real idiot who thinks she is SO great. She's rich and loud and bratty and super rude to me, even though I have never been mean to her. My locker this year is unfortunetly right next to hers and whenever I put my books on the floor to open my locker (it requires two hands to open it for some reason), if they are SLIGHTLY in her way, or if I'm sort of over her locker a little bit, she'll say REALLY rudely "MOVE!" I have tried saying things such as "there's a nicer way to say it, Shira!" and other stuff but she never stops!

I'm really sick of her and I need to know how to stick up to her to show her I will not take it.

My brother got me into this game on the computer, and my friend found out about it. Now she signed up but she hasn't started playing yet. I really don't want her to play the game (she'll try to get way better than me, she's a very competitive person), but I know if I tell her that she'll get angry. How do I tell her that I don't want her to play the game?

Is it true that if a guy knows you like them, it lessens the chance that they will like you back? My friend told me that it was.

I have a best friend who has a few classes with my crush. She tells me the conversations they have, and sometimes the stuff she says bugs me. Like she told him some of the nickames we call him. And when we have school events, she always forces me into talking to him. Like she once told him I had something to say to him, and I didn't know what to say, so I repeated something I had just said. And it really annoyed me! And so I find out that, yesterday, she was telling a really nice friend of hers (who I'd let her tell my secret to) that one of her friends likes the guy. The guy I like sits behind her in math, and he heard. He asked if it was a girl at a party she had, and she said maybe. Maybe is the word you use when you don't want to say yes, in those situations. All the girls at the party couldn't possibly have liked him, except for me.

So now I'm really mad at my friend, and I can't talk to my crush, because he will obviously know, and it'll just be embarrassing.

So what do I do?

I'd like to know, because sometimes I feel like I should wear something to make my breasts more noticable, but I'm not sure I should. Does breast size matter to nice boys?

I like this boy, but I have no classes with him, but I did last year. I want him to notice me, and my best friend is good friends with him. I guess you could consider us sort of friends, but barely, if at all. We both aren't popular or anything, so at least we're not of different popularities. But he doesn't seem like he's really interested in me the way I want him to be interested in me. I've never really liked a guy like I like him, even though I've liked strongly liked guys before. I don't know if there will ever be sparks between us.

So...how do I get him to like me?
