Stunning or halal slaughter, which is more peaceful for the animal?
Eating meat we cannot avoid but we can make the process as peaceful as possible for the animal we slaughter. Therefore the age old question arises: Stunning or halal slaughter, which is more peaceful for the animal?
Research reveals that even if brain had no activity; in other words even an animal was clinically dead it still had consciousness. Please see the video on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_qBIw7qyHU
On the other hand halal slaughtering completely disconnects the brain or sensory system of the body that the animal goes through less pain. Please see one of the videos:
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics6 years agoDo you think the theories help explain the happiness of marriage life?
Two theories of a happy life, especially of a happy marriage life.
Theory 1. Marry to love or love the person you marry
Theory 2. Love to marry.
Both the theories deal with the solidity of the marriage produced by their respective process. Marriage itself is a long term solid or fixed event. In relationship Type 1 love occurs under the fixed factor, marriage. Therefore love is more solid and permanent for a person who already has tuned herself or himself to the religious guidance that to love the spouse is a form of prayer or another way getting nearness to The God. In this type of marriage, the pre-marital discussions or meetings are mainly for the purpose of collecting and verification of information about the suitability of one to another in a broader social perspective. The average marriage occurs at an early age of adult-hood.
On the other hand in type 2 relationship in the absence of marriage or marital obligations, love can be volatile or changing, i.e. more than one, depending upon the number of options in hand. Therefore the resulting experience can be complicated and complex. Thus marriage out of this type of relationship can also be more volatile. The marriage occurs at a later stage of adult-hood.

22 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoHave you explored Islam the misunderstood religion?
It is a fact that we all have to pass away from this life.
This world is going to end today or tomorrow.
At the end of this world the God, Who created the worlds in six days or phases, will recreate His entire creation anew. We will be resurrected to stand before the God. The God is One and the Only One with none like Him. He has created mankind one nation. For them He has given the same religion or one and only one religion. If we're on the right religion then there will be no harm on us standing before Him on the day of Judgement. God with His mercy will reward us for our good deeds.
On the other hand if we end up meeting the God with a wrong faith there will be no escape. The God's anger will be upon. May Allah protect us from His anger. By the by Allah is just an Arabic term for The God. It is the proper name for The God. Open up the Arabic bible, chapter genesis. This term has been used at least 5 or 6 times. Therefore no matter which religion we’re following or not following we should all explore the religion Allah has approved for the mankind from genesis to the end.
There is a precondition for this search to be successful. We should begin our search in the name of the God, Whoever He is, that He helps us in our search and shows us the right way for the success. We should read the Quran. These days it is available in many languages. At least one will be helpful for you. While reading the queries you have, you can consult with some scholar or at least someone who knows about it and practices.
You can gain experience from some revert stories. These days they're easily available on YouTube. Examples are Hussain Yee, Dr Bilal Philips, Yusuf Estes and so on.
The last prophet (PBUH) of the God passed away 1400 hundred years back. No new prophet is going to come. As such it is our individual duty or responsibility to share the hidden truth or the treasure of success and happiness with all mankind.
Therefore have you taken your time to explore the truth?
Why are you here?
Where are you heading or where time is taking you to?
What is the purpose of life?
What will happen after this life?
Why should we die?
Is death the end of all stories?
Shouldn’t we be living forever?
What is the after-life?
How can we get success in the life that is to last forever?
What is our relationship with the creator?
What He tells us?
Where can I find His original words?
Is there any such book, which still has His original unchanged words?
and so on
None would be able to say to the God on the day of Judgement that nobody conveyed the message to him or her. Help is always available around you.
22 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWho is the best man and why?
One very hungry, fully naked, devoid of care, almost mad and helpless man is running towards fire...
One helping man comes, gives him food.
Another helping man comes, gives him clothes.
Another helping man comes, gives him compassions.
Yet another helping man comes and turn his direction away from the fire.
Who is the best man of the helping men?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIsn't it a confusion in the name of western values?
Cases presented in this, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00zm324, is only one example out of many, wherein real western high values have been undermined or repressed by cult values. These sorts of repressions of core values are not only creating integration problems with Muslims but also with the Christian majority. Muslims and Christians are already united on these high values.
Therefore the problem is not in the integration of Muslims with the Christian majorities but actually is with how to deal with these neo cult values, which are disintegrating the societies!
Isn’t that Government is pretending to be not seeing though it is obvious wherefrom the problems in the societies are coming?
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoScience is unscientific because at critical times it draws conclusion on unseen based on unseen: Isn't it?
The hypothesis and / or assumption of full visibility and / or full knowledge.
As The God willed human scientists, no grudge against them, have discovered a lot of things, which have changed human perceptions on things we see or experience. These scientific discoveries, many of them are in fact accidental, also have easen our lives, as The God willed. Talking about accidental great discovering actually reminds me of The God's will in our efforts and in their success.
Talking about influence of scientific ideas or tools on things we see, also reminds me of the extent we believe in things, which science has never been able to observe or see; yet science has given its knowledge based on observation of the unseen… One of the examples of limitations of our scientific visibility is like observing the space. What percent of the deep space we can actually see through available scientific devices or tools? I would say if full space is taken as 100, we cannot even see a faction of a percent. So how do we generalise on the 100% based on our visibility of nothing?
Science is about knowledge based on observation. In that regard isn’t it unscientific to draw such conclusions about things, which we cannot really see a substantial part to be able to have generalised knowledge or have a scientific knowledge? I think it would rather scientific to acknowledge the limitation of science in those regards rather than giving the human race an apparent confidence that science is able to solve or explain all problems both seen and unseen or unseeable.
There was a time human used to think that they are at the centre of the universe. Then scientist like Galileo discovered devices, with which human could see a little more than they had previously been able to see. With that slight improvement in human visibility the whole concept of human presence relative to the universe was changed or corrected at that time. But then as we have now come so far away from that time and our visibility has improved so many fold that in fact we have now come to another level of the same situation of Galileo’s time that we are now claiming the same way our high institutions of Galileo’s time used to claim. We are again claiming how rest of the universe look like based on what our eyes can see or observe! The size of the problem has just gone bigger than that of Galileo’s time but essentially it is the same...
We are carried away by the little help scientific knowledge is providing in our daily life. 'Little' in the sense of the complete universe problems though 'Little' is not that little in relation to our daily life. Recent Katrina and Sendai disasters, on two of the most advanced countries in the world are sufficient to prove how little is our scientific knowledge to deal with The God given forecalls.
The great universe problem I’m referring to are like,
- Did matters already exist or The God alone existed always and He caused the matters to exist.
- Did matters evolve themselves to forms of lives or The God caused matters to transform into lives?
- and so on
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIntegration: Is there anything clear about it?
While there is no set of values and even if there is some the spread is so ultra wide that the value standard initially started with eventually embrace its anti-value, is there any go about it?
For example if true christian social values are taken they are not much different from islamic values.
The problem is in the name so called modern western values there is probably only confusions.
Probably this is the reason of many forms of alienation within a community.
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoGlobal Value system: Isn't there already one? The God made way of life: Islam?
Davos: It was felt that a global unified regulation is needed to stop another melt down.
The values to be upheld were explored based on surveys on young persons' opinions on values.
Can such bottom up approach help avoid another melt down while the values given by The All Knowing God remain unexplored?
On what to base? The God's complete knowledge or the incomplete knowledge of ours.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDavos: Subprime lending, a curse or a good deed of charity?
Sub-prime lending has been highlighted as one of the main reasons for the collapse of financial institutions. Was it really the cause? All banks lent with a reasonable estimate that subprime borrowers would be able to pay off their monthly liabilities from their income streams. So lending was not at all a curse but was a good deed of charity-like to give those people an opportunity to own their own houses.
The thing went wrong was the pyramid model behind the operation of the market economy. Failing pyramid model could not support anymore the jobs of many. So it was the failure of the interest based economy mechanism to keep the subprime borrowers still on board on their income streams. Consequentially they failed to pay off their monthly mortgage liabilities. It was beyond the foresight of banks that market mechanism would fail.
So it is imperative that spirituality of the market economy is fixed rather than scapegoating on subprime lending. Those people still be given opportunity to own their own assets.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoThe danger of maximizing love alone only. Do you agree with my Universal Love Framework?
The Universal Concept of Love:
The Love works within three other elements in the same framework.
The elements are,
i) Love
ii) Hope
iii) Fear or Uncertainty and
iv) Justice
There is a danger of taking any one element from the framework and keeping on maximizing it standing alone with disregard to the balance that exists among them.
For example boys and girls develop friendship initially out of innocent love. In the absence of God's guidance or belief i.e. in the absence of the other elements of the framework while their love gradually develops higher and higher and deepens, there comes a point when they have used all forms of expressions of love in an inappropriate time and manner.
So Universal Conceptual Love (Islamic Love ) works with Hope as well as Fear of The God (The Most High) and from His Justice on the Day of Judgment.
The above example holds true for the other elements of the framework as well. If we take out the Holy Love from the framework and only keep working on the rest of the elements of the framework then the purpose of the life in Islam will be lost.
Islam is for people with love for the Creator (The Most High) to please Him (The Most High) and for one another to save each-other from the final abode of the unrepentant satan i.e. save from the wrath of the Owner of the Day of the Judgment (The Most High) with His (The Most High) sole mercy.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes lack of knowledge bring forth logical reasoning?
For example:
If I know that for going to point B from point A, the pathway is A->B, then I will just follow the pathway, in the normal case, to reach point B from point A.
A little more in complexity if there are more than one way to go from point A to B, in an urgency while I'm a little hard pressed for time, I will use my logical reasoning to assess the possible conditions of different pathways to choose a particular way to reach from point A to B.
On the contrary if I'm still sure, meaning having knowledge, about the safest and shortest way that will help me go from point A to B, I will just follow that particular way instead of working a way out by logical reasoning.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoTo a Unified Universal Model: How close we are?
whether we will be able to have one in near future or not to resolve any of our life problems, there one simple model for performance i believe. it has three core elements viz i. the absolute existence of the Creator, Who created the worlds in six days or phases, ii. the space or the environment including the nature-and-machine environment we live in and iii. our relative existence within the environment.
The existence of God, the Creator is a form of quantum presence in that It is Absolute, Fixed, Never Changing; at the same time Dynamic in Its Function by application of His attributes such as Most Gracious, Most Merciful, The Sustainer, The Protector, The Provider, The Saviour ...
The space is the universe we can reach or affect us or has influence on us. the space is always ways changing, 'disintegrating', in its long term span and in its quantum presence it is fixed mostly.
We have dual presence with respect to God, the Creator within the space we live in i. harmony with and ii in conflict with. Naturally we are harmonious or tend to go back to our state of harmony unless conflicts inflicted on us.
There is a catalyst in this model: Is the driven one, satan made from fire, who imposes or inflicts conflicts within harmony.
Performance: The more conflict we have around us with the Absolute Existence of the God, the Creator within the space or the environment we live in, the poor the performance we have.
This is the universal performance model i suppose. Is there any exception?

14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoare you up for the supplication? i. yes ii. no comment iii. no?
just recently i was thinking that Allah subhanhau wa ta'aala created mankind from the ingredients of earth and satan (a jinnkind) from the ingredients of fire. quite surprisingly i realised if that is so what the reasons are that mankind brands another or a group of his own kind, (forgetting that we are not of from fire), as a satan and shed bloods of each other!
as i was thinking Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala mashaallah caused the answer to come into my mind. it reminded me of that satan, having been branded as the driven one from the heaven, instead of seeking, as adam (pub) would do or has done, Allah subhnaha's mercy rather asked for respite from the Creator till the day of the end of this world so that he could drive as many of the kind of adam (pub) into hell-fire along with him. Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala granted him the respite and warned him along side that whoever of mankind follows satan, they would also have the same destiny or hell-fire.
by rahmatullah it helped me draw a conclusion that because mankind only have a shorter period of life-span in this world, they will never be able to completely finish satan off cause satan would always manage to deceive them of to take one or more their own kind i.e. another group of mankind as for ‘him’ or ‘satan’, made of fire. thus having been deceived by him they would end up in fighting each other so that after he has ignited a chaos among our kind he will always manage by the curse of the Best of the Judges, to escape himself off from the scene cause mankind would never directly fight him.
this realisation gave me a little bit of helplessness but by rahmatullah it also came into my mind while Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala granted satan the special respite, He (the Most Glorious) also added that satan would never be able to lead His men astray. so another of my conclusion was that though mankind would never be able to finish him (fire) off physically they can still save themselves off from him, made of fire.
then my queries darwined around how possibly mankind could actually save themselves off from satan (or fire). mashaallah, Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala this time also caused me to think of two possible ways.
i. in the wake of an oncoming struggles, wars and hardship mankind should always remind themselves of that it is actually the satan, made of fire, who is inciting the chaos and not their own-kind, made of ingredients of earth. this will help us by rahmatullah re-direct our attention to the real enemy behind the deluded ones of our own-kind.
ii. secondly even if mankind manage to locate the driven satan they will still not be able to completely finish him off though they can save themselves off from his evilness by living on good works to please Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala, (The Best of Protectors). at this stage i thought it was sort of like only a half solution (at least mashaallah) as it was not really solving the core problem as to how to finish the fire (satan) off. so a third thought mashallah came into my mind by Rahmatullah.
iii. since the respite has been given by the Creator, it is only He,the Creator, Who can bring satan's livelihood into an end. that means we, mankind, have to directly seek Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala's assistance to finish him (fire) off to set us free from his spell. How we would go about it!?
iv. mankind can make an especial supplication. since satan has been given respite till the day of the end of this world unless it is the end phase or the time of end this world we cannot do anything except being only remaining satisfied to be able to save, by rahmatullah, ourselves off his evil spells during our life-time. we know that the last messenger (peace and raham of Allah subhanahu wa ta’aala on him) of our Creator, Who has created these worlds in six days or phases, has already come and have successfully by rahmatullah delivered his responsibilities to the satisfaction of Allah (the Creator)subhanahu wa ta'aala. this is already the end phase. no new civilisation is going to come. so now mankind can make an especial supplication to the Creator as below,
"Oh our Creator, You have already sent the last of your messengers (peace be upon all of them). he (peace and raham of You, Allah subahanahu wa ta’aala on him) has already, to your satisfaction, delivered his tasks assigned by You, Oh the Creator, the Highest and the Most Glorious of all. as a partial fruit of your messenger's effort please bring a complete end of the rizk or respite of the driven satan (fire) and his folks and thus free us from the test of this world"
this supplication we have to offer after every salat as we do at least five times a day.
