I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. I have recently started trying multiple daily applications of organic, virgin, cold pressed coconut oil to try to combat the dryness in a natural way. If applied to my face the coconut oil burns, when applied to my hands it makes them feel hydrated for a little bit but then leaves my skin so dried out. I think my skin is drier than it ever has been. How is this possible????

Any information regarding effectiveness, amounts to take, recipes, etc. appreciated.

I have tried using baking soda and vinegar along with detergent but the fleece pajamas still just don't smell very fresh after laundering.

My poor little doxie has an anal gland abscess. We've been to the vet, she's got the cone on, she's on antibiotics and pain meds and we're doing warm compresses. My question is how long will it take for the abscess to heal? I feel so bad for her...

What kind of Large Breed Puppy Food is the best for the money? I have been trying to do all of the research I can but it is so confusing. I'm just wondering if this seems accurate? Her mom is 50 lbs her dad 70 lbs. Our puppy is 6 mos old and weighs 22 lbs. Our vet said she has all of her adult teeth so her frame should be as big as she'll get and now she'll just fill out. Does this seem right? I would LOVE for her to stay a smaller size.

We have a 12 lb. miniature long-haired dachsund. We took her to puppy classes, training classes, dog parks and to everyone's house we know to socialize her. She is very obedient and very calm but also loves to play fetch and go for walks. My question is I feel like I have a well-behaved, well-mannered, well-trained, well-exercised, obedient dog BUT she hates other dogs. She ignores them as long as they don't bug or notice her, she does not bark or act aggressive, she will act submissive and roll-over but if they get too frisky or smell her too long she snaps at them. Also, if she is in a home environment, ours or someone else's, she has to be in charge and have all the toys and/or attention and will fight the other dog for the toys or attention. My parents' 80lb super-sweet, 10 yr old golden retriever is going to be staying with us for 6 days. He's terrified of our 12 lb, 6 yr old doxi. How can we keep her from being a bully with my parents Golden AND with other dogs too?

She used to be so pretty and now she looks awful. Whatever she's had done is bad. She looks like she's had a bad face-lift and one too many lip injections.

I did about a half hour ago for the first time. I followed the directions for the water

/sea salt ratio but it burned while I was doing it and for a little bit after, to the point my eyes were also burning and watering . Is that normal? Now my sinuses and ears feel so much better. Any thoughts or tips for next time? Thanks in advance!
