  • Anyone knows the song from the ferrero rocher @ kinder bueno ad?

I'm not sure which ad it is (I think it's Ferrero Rocher but it could be Kinder Bueno). It has a princess and a Santa Claus in two separate water-filled globes. Suddenly, the princess tips her globe so that it topples and hits Santa's globe. Both globes broke and the princess kisses Santa.

The song goes like this : "Whatever love, everything for you my darling..."

It could be "whatever life", i'm not really sure... the singer is a woman with a really soft voice..

    Anyone??

  • While the rest of the world use Greek alphabet in Maths & Science, what do the Greek use in their education?

Everywhere in the world, people use Greek letters to represent Science & Maths notions as to parallelize the system so that everybody learns the same thing.

To us (non Greek people), those letters are mere symbols used to represent things. However, those letters are actually used by the Greek people in everyday life.

My question is, what do the Greek use to represent Maths & Science notion in their eduacation system? Do they use Latin alphabet to replace our alpha, beta, theta etc... or do they also use the Greek letters?

  • Anyone know this song from Friends show?

In the episode TOW The Routine, Monica and Ross went to the New Year's Party where there was this song playing... It goes something like this :

"Watching for a sound(?) to lead me to wherever you go.. I can't help it..."

I tried googling it but it didnt help..

And also, at the end of the episode, there was a song which uses the melody of Auld Lang Syne, but a little more upbeat and with new lyrics. What is the title of that one?

    Thanks for the help..

  • Anyone ever stayed at the Omena Hotelli Helsinki, Finland?

It's stated that on Fridays, the occupants must be at least 22 yrs old.

Me and my friends are going there in December and it'll be on a Friday. The problem is, none of us is 22 yrs old or more. I'm 19 and my other friends are all 20.

So, since it's a no-frontdesk and no-receptionist hotel (u pay on the internet, get a passcode and use it to open the front door and then your room door..modern innit?), I think when reserving on the internet, we;re just going to lie about our age.

Is this dangerous? Will they be somebody at the front door to check if we really are at least 22 yrs old?

  • How to maximise my Wi-Fi speed?

I'm sharing my Internet connection with a neighbor who has the modem and who uses the USB cable plugged to his laptop, and his internet speed is lightning fast (his torrent download speed is at least 300 kbps).

While me, who lives 15 metres away and uses WiFi, only has 1 bar in the WiFi signal strength and my Internet speed is so lamentable.

Do I need to buy another router for myself (although our modem is actually a modem + router)? I tried changing the WiFi USB drive but nothing happened.

    Please help me?

  • Running tips for overweight people?

I need to run 2.6 kilometres (that's around 1.6 miles for you Americans) in less than 13 minutes.

And I'm slightly overweight. Okay, A LOT overweight. I don't have a stamina problem because I've been swimming since I was very young (I can hold my breath for around 3-4 minutes).

My only problem is my legs. Since my upper body is heavy, my legs ache a lot when I run because they have to support it. I've tried slowing the impact of contact but it still aches. Is there any way I could do 2.6 kilometres in under 13 minutes without hurting my legs?

  • Anyone going to Phuket next week?

I'm going to Phuket next week. I'm supposed to go with 3 friends but suddenly they all back out because of family problems, financial probs etc..

So, is there anyone who's going to Phuket next week (preferably a girl who's around 19 because I'm 19)? I'm in Malaysia right now so this is my last chance of going to Phuket and I'm not gonna back out just because some stupid friends got problems.

    So, any takers?

  • Is sex the main reason for marriage in Muslim countries?

In Islam, a man is allowed to marry 4 women max. Is it because a man's sexual drive is greater than a woman's, or because the male population is greater than that of female, or is it for the children i.e. more wives equals more Muslim children thus the expansion of the religion?

Why do other religions reject polygamy?

And, if sex wasn't important, would marriage be of less importance in the Muslim community?

I'm thinking of going to Phuket next week but am not sure of the length of my stay. I'm thinking of going there for 4 days. Is that enough (considering that I'm going for a one-day trip to Phi Phi Island)?

Or should I add another day?

And, which hotels offer great accommodations at the best rates?

    Thanks a lot.

  • What is the sexiest perfume that lasts all night long?

My girlfriend wants a perfume that's sweet, strong but not in-your-face or overpowering, sexy and sultry but at the same time elegant. She wants to wear in while clubbing and she wants it to make a statement. Is there such a perfume? Any ideas anyone?

  • Can Muslims eat medium-cooked steak?

Or should Muslims just stick to well-done steak? I mean, if the meat is well-done, the juice and the tenderness of the beef is greatly reduced, so it's not really good. It's better to have the beef cooked at medium (or medium-rare) temperature, so as to preserve the taste and tenderness. But I don't suppose Muslims can eat raw and medium steak? Because I think in Islam, all meat should be cooked thoroughly. Is this correct?

  • List of cheap, good hotels in Jakarta?

I'm traveling to Jakarta, Indonesia for a few days during summer, end of July to be exact. I'm a student, so obviously I don't have a lot of money to splurge, so I'm gonna have to look for an affordable hotel that's decent and situated in the city (not suburbs). Well, I think the price should be around 300 000 IDR and below per room per night.

I also would like to try some of the best Nase Padang in Jakarta. Where can I get it?

Thanks for helping, especially with the hotel (since all the hotels I see on the net cost quite a fortune.. and they said South East Asia is cheap..)

  • Translation of Alejandro Sanz song, Y Si Fuera Ella?

Anyone has the translation of the song Y Si Fuera Ella by Alejandro Sanz? I know it's a really, really beautiful song although I barely understand it. I'm still learning Spanish and the song's just too hard for me.

If you can show me the link to the translation, that would be great. Even better, you can help me by translating it yourself, that'd be awesome.

    Thanks..

p/s: Isn't it just one of the most beautiful songs in the world?

  • Does anyone else think Desperate Houswives has jumped the shark?

I used to like it, and I'm still tuning in now but I just realized that I do that every week not because I love the story, but because I just have to finish off what I've started. The story is not at all compelling and the twists are just lame. And Edie hooking up with Mike? Ugh.

  • Why do Spanish singers drop the "S" at the end of words?

I've been listening to a lot of Spanish songs (especially by the friggin' talented Alejandron Sanz) lately and I notice how they drop the "S" at the end of words like "pensamos", "historias" etc etc although sometimes they do pronounce it. I'm not sure when to drop it and when to pronounce it. Is there like a rule or the "S" is just optional?
