I want to have multiple ip addresses. All I want to do is execute 1 line automatically as root at or near the end of startup.

Where can / should I put this? (not an rc file, please. It should not take 200 lines of script to do this).

Windows croaked on my dual boot machine. Linux boots and runs just fine.

The windows XP disk can't see the drive. I'm guessing that the bootloader confuses Windows.

Bootloader is Grub.

How to remove it / make drive accessible?

In php, you can seamlessly convert strings representing both decimal and hex numbers to integers using 0 + string.

An (int) cast does not do this, and other methods gave me problems. Anyway:

Doing intval($hx,16); returns 2147483647 which is 0x7fffffff.

How to deal with hex strings representing numbers >0x7fffffff ?

We have 2 cats.

One sometimes craps outside the litter box.

No clue as to which one, and no way to isolate them from each other (very small house).

So the plan is:

Put some undigestable "something" in one cat's food that fluoresces.

On finding a log, shine a black light on it. If the log lights up, we have the guilty cat.

Question: What non toxic and non-digestible tastless stuff could be used? It has to be something a cat would eat.

And yet, there are those that would neuter him. That seem to think of him in the same sense as an anatomicly incorrect doll, or as a eunich. While not religious, I do find it problematic that some Christians would deny Jesus part of his nature as a human being.

King James, by his act of having the bible translated, seems to prove that gays can be as Christian and as God-focussed as anyone else. I don't get it.
