How do I defog my car's headlights?
I have a 1996 Lexus, and the headlights have become foggy, there is a whitish tint building up. Once, when I had my car worked on, the guy defoged them. Is there a product I can buy or a procedure I can do to make them clear again without removing them.

2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow do I know what bike components are best?
When I bike shopping the store clearks keep telling me about how great this component is and this bike is more expensive because of these components. I have no idea what component is what or if it makes that much of a difference. I'm sure is does however I don't know how much. The following are the components for the two bike I have to choose between:
Bike A:
Front derailleur: Shimano Deore
Rear derailleur: SRAM X.7 rear derailleur
Shifters: SRAM X.5
Cassette: SRAM PG950 11-26, 9 speed
Bike B:
Front derailleur: Shimano FD-R443 Tiagra for flat H/B's
Rear derailleur: Shimano Tiagra, long cage
Shift Levers: Shimano R440, 9-speed STI
Cassette: SRAM PG-950, 9-speed 12-26t
Both bikes have noticable but moderate price differences and one has disc breaks. Which components are better and by how much? Also if anyone knows how I can research the quality of components in the future, that would be awsome. If you need more info, I will add it.

14 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoWhat is the best hybrid for around $1000?
I am going to buy a hybrid some time in the next two weeks. I am thinking of the Specialized Sirrus Comp or Sport the Trek FX 7.6 or the Gary Fisher Mendota, but I am open to other suggestions. Does anyone have any good ideas? I have less then $1000 to spend maybe a tad more if there are noticable differences. I use it for comuting but definatly will go on long rides on the weekends.
5 AnswersCycling1 decade agoAre disc breaks better on a hybrid or are carbon components?
Recently my trek 7.3 Fx Disc got stolen from school and I now need to replace it. I was going to get the same one, but I went to a Specialized store and found a bike with carbon components that is a much smoother ride, the Specialized Sirrus Sport. I enjoed the ease and breaking power of the disc breaks, but am tempted with the smoothness and speed of carbon. Are disc breaks necessary on hybrids, I do live in a hilly area? Any suggestions?
