  • My 2000 Honda CR-V won't, any suggestions?

The other night I decided to run some fuel injector cleaner through the vacuum line of my CR-V (Sea Foam brand as I have done many times in the past). While pouring it in, the engine stalls, as it very often does if I'm not careful about how fast I pour in the fluid, but now it won't restart. When you turn the key it just revs and revs but never seems to fire. I had a friend check one of the plug wires while I cranked it and advised he didn't see any spark. Did I manage to royally screw something up or do you think the failure of my distributer/distriber cab just happened to be at the same time I was doing the injector cleaning? Not sure how to proceed, never repaired anything having to do with the ignition so I'm kind of at a loss. Any input appreciated.

  • Anybody used trout beads for brook trout?

I have used trout beads with a lot of success for steelhead and brown trout from the Salmon River in NY but was wondering if anybody has ever had luck in smaller creeks and streams for brook, brown and rainbow trout. I have been advised they work so well in the Salmon River due to the large amount of fish eggs in the Salmon River from spawning salmon and steelhead but I've been curious if trout in smaller bodies of water where large spawning runs don't occur would respond to the beads.

  • '91 Honda Accord wont start, any suggestions?

I have a 1991 honda accord, I just changed the radiator, thermostat, and the spark plugs. Prior to starting this little project, the car started without a problem, since getting it back together all it does is rev (and rev and rev until the battery drains). I tried some starter fluid thinking maybe it just needed a little jump, but no luck. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

  • Replacing brake shoes on a Ranger Pickup?

I have a 1997 Ford Ranger 4 cyl 2wd, the passenger side rear brakes had a leak. I have never tried replacing rear brakes before and I can't find my chiltons manual for the truck. I managed to get all the old peices out and replace the brake line that was leading up to them (the old line was corroded to the old hardware), problem is, I 'm not sure what the finished, reassembled thing should look like. Anybody know of anyplace online I can find a diagram or instructions to properly reassemble? Thanks for any help

  • Electrical short in my Ford Escape?

Anybody have an idea on this one? I have a 2001 Ford escape (6 cylinder) and twice tonight, with the vehicle off and key out of the ignition, the parking lights have come on accompanied by a whining sound. The only recent issue or maintenance was an alternator replacement about 2 weeks ago, and my airbag light came on about a week ago. I currently have the battery disconnected until I can figure out whats up, any input would be helpful

  • Any ideas for a formula problem with a 3 week old?

My 3 week old son has been having problems with formula (wife was told by dock she can't breastfeed because of medication she takes), at the hospital they had him on the enfimil lipil, he wouldn't drink it, and when he finally gave in and drank out of hunger he'd puke it all back up, so they put him on enfamil prosobee, he drank it but it gave him extremely painful gas and constipation, so the pediatrician switched him to the enfamil gentleease, he willingly drinks this as well, but usually vomits it all back up within 10-15 minutes after feeding. Is this a frequent problem out there, or is this an issue I need to insist my pediatrician takes a closer look at? Baby has been gaining weight as he should and seems fine other than the feeding problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated

  • How did you know?

Please don't anyone take this as an attack against religion, I'm asking because I am ligitimately curious. How did you become whatever you are as far as religion goes? Were you raised into certain beleif, was it a life experience that turned you too a certain religion? I know for myself it was my involvement in emergency services that ultimately turned me away from religion, what made you realize what religion was right for you?

  • Anybody here want to get screwed by an insurance company?

If you do, just get a policy with a Direct General Insurance! I would advise all consumers of the insurance industry to be very weary of this company, I have been advised by numerous persons in the insurance and motor vehicle field that they strive to screw people over. I had a vehicle insured with them when my wife was involved in an accident, all off a sudden my wife becomes listed as an excluded driver, and they refuse to pay on the claim. PLEASE, everybody, be weary when picking an insurance company, I wasn't, and now I have a $9300 paper weight in my driveway.

  • Christmas village merry-go-round?

My neice has a miniature Christmas village, and while we were putting it up, I accidentally dropped the merry-go-round and broke it. I told her I would find a replacement but I'm having trouble finding one as smal as hers, it stood less than 6" high. Does anybody know of anyplace to find a similar one, I've tried walmart where she got them a few years ago, but they no longer carry the miniature villages, any help would be appreciated.
