My daughter flat irons her hair every other day and relaxes it every six to eight weeks. I saw the tips are white (Burned from flat iron?) and she has massive amounts of hair breaking from the middle of the hair and the floor and sink were covered in hair. The new growth area to about four inches down looks wonderful . Her hair is shoulder length (just barely) I think she needs to leave relaxers alone and the flat iron and go au natural for about 6 months. Trim her hair so it looks decent and let it grow. However I am not experienced in african american hair. educated suggestions please.

To use oil in it every day. I currently use Africa's Best oil. We both love the smell. I wash her hair with Olive oil Shampoo and I have used the olive oil lotion conditioner when braiding or styling her hair. It seems to work better on getting the knots out. Her hair is very tight curl. I feel guilty not washing her hair more often especially if Im putting oil in it everyday. Help me so I can help her.

The a/c is at least ten years old. Im trying to save money on my electric bill. We already unplug everything possible when not in use and wehave convered to clothes lines. Our water hater is gas as well as the stove. I have ceiling fans but am now pondering the decision of do I go buy oscilating fans or stay with the a/c? I don't have a pastry cutter so a friend told me to use a fork and knife like she does have also tried to use a blender and my hands. I get the same results everytime. If you eat them when they are hot they are soft and perfect. Once they cool off (usually with ten minutes) they are hard as hockey pucks. Any ideas of what I need to do?

My husband has Gout. He s NOT taking any medications for this. Has anyone ever heard of swelling of the mouth associated with Gout? I know it sounds like an allergic reaction butagain, he is not taking any medication so it cannot be an allergic reaction.

My husband is from Belfast. He has been living here in the US since 1997. While here he earned a paralegal degree and a degree in Criminal Jusitice. We entertained the idea of moving to Belfast so he can be with family but we are unsure if his degrees will be recognised in Ireland or are they useless?
