In other words, is a person being attacked required to run away or can they stand and fight back an attacker?

tt's a 37" Phillips... suddenly, within a minute of turning it on, it just freezes the picture and no sound. Thje remote does nothing and even the controls on the set do nothing. I am using an antenna with a small booster. Is the set shot or is it a simple issue to fix? It is 6 years old. Thanks for assisance.
