I'm a native Chicagoan who works as a Medical Assistant. Sometimes I freelance as a Writer. And I have also been a Phlebotomy instructor. I've been married close to 14 years. I enjoy reading non-fiction, Salsa music, going to the movies, I stay home to watch "Cheaters", going out to dinner with friends and my fave past time is Sleeping. I just can't get enough of it! I have 2 cats & 1 dog living in a tiny 2 bdrm apt!
How many of you had the unfortunate experience of having a miscarriage and how were you able to handle it?
I was pregnant 5 weeks but then started to bleed. Lab tests revealed that my HCG levels were going down and that my body aborted the embryo I was carrying. I was totally broken hearted. How have other women dealt with such hardship and emotional pain?

My mother passed away 1 week and a half ago. Needless to say, I feel very sad and empty inside. My mother was up in age and very ill. The only thing that consoles me is that she is no longer suffering.

I'm in my early 40's and have been ttc (on& off) for some time now. I was wondering how I can keep nosy people at bay who keep asking me "WHEN ARE YOU & YOUR HUSBAND GOING TO HAVE CHILDREN?"
This hurts me because I AM TRYING TO HAVE A CHILD. But I don't want to tell everyone my personal business about going to fertility specialists and all that because that's private.
How would YOU shut up these annoying individuals?! What would you tell them to get them off your back?

For me, I was trying hire a new CNA at the Nursing home where I work, this young lady came in wearing a short micro mini-skirt and very high heels! There were elderly people around. All the men in my department just had to make an excuse to walk by and see her.
