As I always keep my contacts open, I get some really wierd ones from all over the world. Yesterday I was IM'ed by one I had never spoke to. A 17 year old boy in Iraq.

I asked if he hated USA...no.

He said he wanted to go to Med school, wanted to help people.

He told me he couldn't go outside, couldn't talk to anyone, and dared not to witness anything (for fear of his life).

Although he said he is in a "tourist" area, where the fighting is light, he still sees death and distruction regularly.

Last week he saw 5 of his school friends without their heads!

He cried out that all he wanted was to be a "normal boy".

He wants OUT of his country, to have a life of peace and meaning.

Even they don't know if it's better or worse that our troops are there.

What do you say to a boy like this?

Conception happens in a test tube. Out of a dozen fertilized eggs, they implant one and "murder" the rest. So why do Christians go to fertility clinics where they "murder" all those innocent souls?

...then why are you concerned? Really, if you believe in God, then doesn't it make sense that "he" will take care of the "murderers". If you think it's wrong don't have one. But is it really right to force your beliefs on others when there is no substancial evidence of the souls existence or when the soul actually enters the body!

BTW, fertility clinics throw out 1000's of fertilized eggs everyday, I don't see the Pro-lifers picketing them!

If 62% of you believe that God is more real than Global Warming. This would make God not only responsable for the Polar Bears all of a sudden drowning, but also the current extinction rate is 100 times that of the natural rate. So why is God killing off life on Earth?

The church has been using it's power to enact laws regarding sexual acts since the middle ages. Dictating what can or can not be done in the privacy of our own bedrooms.

Is it time we stepped out of the middle ages?

Many laws are still on the books today in the USA.
