I msged my sis in law and asked her could I come up to visit in July for a week. They live in a different province. She replied saying I could, but that the spare room is now the baby s room so they don t have the double bed in there anymore. I said yeah I knew that, but I wouldn t mind sleeping on the couch, or stay at a hotel if that s what she preferred. She wrote back saying I could sleep on the couch for a few nights, but my bro likes to feed the baby on the couch at night, he likes the space. Mind you their couch is a huge L shaped one. To me, it s like she s trying to tell me to just stay at a hotel for the whole week. Just wanted to see how others would read into this.

I need to get this for a new job at a hospital. I had to get a court check done and then bring it to my local RCMP station. Do I need to get fingerprints taken to get this done, even though my COC and VS will come back with nothing to report? Also, does anyone know which forms they currently use to get the COC and VS done? I'm in Newfoundland if that makes any difference.

I'm about to graduate college in a month and have already applied for jobs. I needed an academic reference and the instructor I asked to give me one told me before he'd release the reference, that there were some issues I had to work with. During labs, various instructors found me rushing through my work and sometimes being defensive when being told I was doing something wrong. I have ADD and no one at my school knows this and I usually only take medication when I'm studying. Do you think it would be a good idea to tell my instructor this so that they may understand why I was like that and would more likely give me a decent reference?

It s been like this a few weeks now. Her appetite is normal and I ve only seen her wipe her bum in the carpet once. I haven t changed her food and I only give her one small can of wet food a day, leaving dry food of the same brand and flavor in her dish at all times. Long story short, met a guy online, told him I only sleep with guys I really like. So long after we meet in person, he initiates sex with me. Happens a few more times. Have you ever had a guy friend who you did like more then as a friend, but then just liked him as a friend? And then he starts dating a girl who you nor any of your/his friends like, but yet she only hates you. So then your guy friend starts hating you to, accusing you of being jealous that he's with her, yet you're not the friend who likes him, but it seems like he doesn't care. His gf tells him that you've been talking about her at your new workplace, which you haven't, but he only believes his gf and then stops talking to you altogether, even after he dumps her. Has anyone else had this happen to them and did you and the guy/girl become friends again afterwards?

Oh and before someone says it, no I wasn't jealous of her because I would have done the same thing had she dated my brother and I'm definitely not into the incest thing lol.

And this guy did like me before, his friends told me so and I found out later that he, like me, usually don't make the first move unless the other person tells us that they like us. Perhaps this is why his gf hated me and not the girl that liked him when he was with his gf, because he never liked her before.

I work at Mcdonalds. The other day, I was in drive thru taking orders and I forgot to upsell a few times. My store is crazy about upselling sadly. Anyways, the store manager found out and said it to me, and I said I was sorry and that I just forgot to.

So then, she says to me "Well, how would you feel if we forgot to pay you?"

I said "I'd be quite upset about it. Wait, are you THAT upset about me forgetting to upsell a few times?"

She says "Yes, I am".

I said "oh...". So then she leaves, and afterwards I think about it and think that she went overboard comparing me not getting paid, therefore not being able to pay my bills, and possibly being homeless, to the owner of our store not making a few more bucks, but still being rich none the less. I felt like she could have just said to not forget to upsell and leave it at that, instead of the extra comment she made.

Does anyone else think that she went overboard with it, and how would you have reacted to it?

I work there and recently changed my availability from anytime to week days (mon-fri 6 am to 7 pm). I know that there's 3 different pay rates, one for part timers, one for full time day, and one for full time anytime. I just want to know if my new availability qualifies as full time day pay rate? I know I can ask my store manager this, but I'd rather not since she seems pissed about my new availability.

I'm curious because there's only one that I know of that does this, the one I work at, and maybe the few others owned by the person who owns mine allows it at their stores as well, but I'm not sure. The one I worked at in a different town before wouldn't allow it for safety reasons and I totally agree. Are owners/operators allow to set their own rules on this sort of thing?

I went to do the bios fix update since I heard this video card tends to cause a computer to crash often before doing the bios update. After it prompted me to restart my computer, which I did, and now the monitor won't display anything. The monitor is currently plugged into the new card with a DVI cord. Is it that guys just felt like they should do this or was it that your girlfriends told you to do so? I've had a fair number of guy friends do this to me and it's really annoying. They'll start talking to me again when their relationship is over. But the way I am is that if you're going to act as if I don't exist when you're with someone, then don't bother talking to me when you're not in a relationship.

I loaned it to him and have been asking for it back almost a week now and he keeps saying he's too tired to do that, even though I offered to pick him up from work and drop him off so he could give it back to me but he refused to do that. He says he's been working 16 hour days at work and that's fine, but it only takes a minute to do that. Now his number is no longer in service so I have no way of contacting him. I know he's off tomorrow so I plan to go to his place to get it from him. If he refuses yet again, is it worth my while to go to the cops about it? Not only does he have my 3DS, but 7 games as well, plus ones I downloaded onto there, so it's definitely at least $550 worth. I had bought my 3DS when it was $250. I do have proof that I own the 3DS and games, since I registered everything with Club Nintendo and I have all the cases for the games.

I was wondering if there was an option for them to email you or for you to pick up things that they would normally send in the mail, such as hst rebate direct deposit info and the letter they send you letting you know how much of a tax refund you got and when it was deposited.
