A guy won't give me back my Nintendo 3DS?

I loaned it to him and have been asking for it back almost a week now and he keeps saying he's too tired to do that, even though I offered to pick him up from work and drop him off so he could give it back to me but he refused to do that. He says he's been working 16 hour days at work and that's fine, but it only takes a minute to do that. Now his number is no longer in service so I have no way of contacting him. I know he's off tomorrow so I plan to go to his place to get it from him. If he refuses yet again, is it worth my while to go to the cops about it? Not only does he have my 3DS, but 7 games as well, plus ones I downloaded onto there, so it's definitely at least $550 worth. I had bought my 3DS when it was $250. I do have proof that I own the 3DS and games, since I registered everything with Club Nintendo and I have all the cases for the games.

If you're under 18 you'll need your parents or an adult relative to go with you and make a police report, if you're over 18 you can do it yourself. Get all the info in this guy, name, age, race, height, weight, address, phone number etc plus a list of the games and if you have box the game came in for the serial number it may help, and go make a report. You'll get it back. Just do it ASAP.

Get a friend and go see him where he lives.Demand your things and no excuses accepted from him.

You would have to sue him in small claims court
