So on Christmas Day I got pretty drunk and decided I was hungry. Being that it was christmas there was nothing opened so I grabbed some frozen burger patties from my freezer and stuck them in the oven to defrost at 365 degrees. Well, I past out and my brother woke to find the house full of smoke and these two little clumps of charred meat in the oven. I'm lucky I didn't burn the house down but now my house has this awful meat smell. Anyone know how I can rid this smell from my house. I hate a stinky house.

Complicated but I'll try to keep it short. We are both 33 years old. We had each other for a class in HS and reconnected after all this time. On our first "date" we connected like we never had with anyone before. I asked her how it was possible she was single. she dropped the bomb. She stilled lived with her daughters dad but the relationship is dead and he was an abusive leach that just smoked weed all day. She cried and poured her heart out. I agreed to proceed with the relationship because all the signs were that we were meant for each other. In the months that followed we communicated and saw each other in secret. She went all in with me and even said she loved me first. My last significant relationship ended badly and i managed to guard myself from any pain for 8 years before I also went all in with her. I loved her with all my heart and promised to raise her daughter as my own. A year later to the month, she became less and less involved. I pressured her for more time together and a little more effort for her to leave. 3 days we had a discussion of how I didn't feel I we were important anymore and she became upset and she couldn't do it anymore. I was crushed. She will not answer my texts, emails and I can only reach her at work but it's a shallow conversation, understandably. I treated her like a queen and the only mistake I believe I made was wanting more after a year of enduring her living with a douchbag. It hurts so badly, I can't stop thinking about her. I can not eat and Ive been drinking too much. Will she come around? Should I wait? I'm so confused.

Mine: Father of the Bride. Whenever it's on cable I always watch. I do change the channel when my roommate walks by though.

I work for a courier company who uses Independent Contractors as drivers. We have an account with a customer that supplies hospitals with blood. At times they say they need a delivery super stat because there is someone "on the table". I suspect this is a ploy to try to expedite the service. I refuse to believe that hospitals begin any surgery without having blood on hand. When we receive the blood it's packed with ice and boxed up pretty tight. Am I right in believing that hospitals are not relying on a third party non-emergency courier service for critical "on the table" surgeries?

Personally I think music can make or break a movie for me. Glory as an example has a phenomenal score and sets the perfect tone. Another example is comedies where there is this silly and childish music that just turns me off. Still another example is how comedies set a light tone like in Me, Myself and Irene, I love that soundtrack.

How can YA users misspell answers? I can see the questions where there is no spellchecker but the answers? C'mon! Sometimes an answer is so good and on-point but riddled with mistakes it devalues the point it was making.

Or I'm a being just being pompous douche?
