What a Stupid Question!

I was pulled over by the police about 6 weeks ago for speeding. Doing 50 in a 40.

He gave me a ‘traffic offence report’ and told me to wait until I heard anything. On the report it does also say not to do anything until I get something through the post.

So I appreciate that with what’s going on at the moment maybe there are delays in the system. However 6 weeks feels like a long time to not have received anything.

Is there a time limit? Or is it at the officers discretion after he has let me go whether or not he actually files the report, and just uses the chance to scare me a bit?

When I signed up to virgin last year they sent out 2 contracts to sign. One for me to keep and one to send back to them.

I completely forgot at the time to sign either, and I still have them.

I've now cancelled with them and they want to charge me £100 cancellation fee. Normally I would have no dispute in paying, however the nightmare I've had with them has just gone on and on, hence cancelling.

They never chased me for that contract, so is there any way I can get out of paying the fee?

If not, just going to have to lump it!

I have been at the same company now for just over 2 years and never had a day off. However this last Friday after a week long period of having flu i finally had the day off.

I called in sick and gave enough notice. It is only a small company with around 4-5 people in each day, but i made sure they would have enough cover.

After looking on the internet sick pay can often depend on what pay i get (£200 a week).

My manager is saying that as i have used all of my holidays that i have to either make up the hours or just not get paid for that day.

Is this right?? I want to find out before i go ask the MD.

My manager is a bit of a hypochondriac and just has hours here and there to go to the doctors on a fairly regular basis and i believe she gets paid for them. She is also regularly late as she lives about 20 minutes away and uses traffic as an excuse. I have never had a single day off and i have only been late once (by ten minutes).

What should i do????

I'm only 20 (nearly 21) and i am desperate for a baby. I feel so jealous when i see others pregnant and when they talk about their kids. I know that i'm not financially ready or have a steady enough job etc, i just want that unconditional love and someone to take care of. My boyfriend wants kids however he isn't in a very stable job and i'm not stupid enough to trick him into anything.

The think is i'm not exactly very good with kids and sometimes the way other people raise their kids annoys me, i know that's a ridiculous thought and it's petty, i just know that i could (in my own opinion, i know other people will disagree) do a better job of raising a child.

I've been in my job nearly 2 years but don't get paid anywhere near enough to pay for an extra little person :)

Why do i feel like this and how can i make this feeling go away as i know i'm not ready yet.

We have a photo of a house and all we know is it is in Spain, is there any software that can recognize a house or landmarks in a photo?

I have worked at this place for 18 months now and have proved myself over and over. I manage our social networking website and i manage 2 OLDER people with sales etc. The thing is i get a wage of £5.39. I am getting so fed up of this as i am the third longest serving member of staff and have more responsibility than the 3 part timers. (i am full time doing 32 hours a week). I am 20 years old.

Does this seem right?

Me and my boyfriend currently own a 56 plate Ford Focus 1.6 turbo diesel sport tdci, however we have now bought a Landrover freelander 1.8 and it is a petrol. I know that petrols and diesels are different to drive i just wondered how different and how difficult is it to drive a bigger car. I am 19 by the way.

I would like genuine answers please not ones that take the mick out me being a girl driver (im suprisingly good)
