Where can I find these 2 pictures again?
A while ago I came across 2 ghost pictures (Not at the same time) and I'm trying to find them again, so I can evaluate what made them scary to me. I've seen them in the last few years, but can't seem to find either of them again. One was a picture of ghost cat that had died on the armrest of a chair I believe, and the other was of a baby in a car seat and behind the baby through the car window, there were figures (can't remember what they looked like). I would like to evaluate these pictures again to realize how they affect me. Can you help me?
1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture8 years agoWhat's wrong with my cats?
I have 3 inside cats whom are all just over a year old from the same litter, and who have grown up together. Today, somehow, one of my cats got outside, and I didn't realize it until I was getting ready for work. He was outside for about an hour or so (He stayed in the backyard), and since I saw him outside and brought him back in, my other two cats have been really aggressive towards him. Anytime he gets near one of them, the other one will hiss and maybe even smack him. They won't let him eat or use the litterbox. I've had to lock the other two out of the room because they will sit there, stare at him and hiss. Is it because he's got a different scent on him from being outside for a little bit? I don't know, what do you think?
3 AnswersCats8 years agoHow to keep my dog out of the garden?
I recently planted my garden (so excited I actually have a yard to plant one in this year) and I've already got stuff growing (I'm in the south, it's warming up!) and I've got a small, 1 foot fence blocking it off from the dogs hoping that would keep my younger and bigger dog out of the garden. It's not however, she has jumped in there, dug a hole, destroyed my green beans that were doing so good, nearly destroyed my sunflowers by covering them with dirt, and killed a big pumpkin I had started nicely. And she also pooped in there.
How can I keep her out there? I thought about chicken wire but will that work? A bigger fence? Fence off the area? I'm about to expand it too, I need more room for the pumpkins.
I have the garden in my backyard since it's where I get the most sunshine and I have a huge backyard for the dogs.
4 AnswersGarden & Landscape8 years agoSomeone keeps putting leaves, weeds, and roots in my mailbox?
What can I do? It's annoying and disrespectful. I live in a nice neighborhood, and the fact that my mailbox is on my front porch, right outside my front door. 2 days ago, I found some weed roots that I had pulled up from my garden in my mailbox. I threw them back in my yard. Today, I find my mailbox stuffed almost full of roots, and leaves, and the mail man had come and had to stick the mail in funny.
How do I stop this?
3 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police8 years agoCan you help me understand this paragraph?
I'm having some trouble understanding this paragraph. Can you help me understand what the paragraph is trying to say? It's called "These Deadly Times: Reconceptualizing School Violence by Using Critical Race Theory and Disability Studies" by Ivan Eugene Watts and Nirmale Erevelles.
I'm writing a paper for my Sociology class (The class is studying social problems), and we have to summarize a research paper and I'm having trouble understanding what the main idea of this paragraph is.
The paragraph says:
"Although a pragmatic response to school violence has been the general trend of contemporary research on school violence, some scholars extend the pragmatic to examine the social, cultural, political, and economic environment within which school violence is situated. They aregue that the pragmatic response treats school violence as an individual act, so that programs instituted to prevent violence seek to assign individual blame and instill individual responsibility. Critical of that response, these authors, drawing predominately from neo-Marxist and post-structuralist theorists, especially Foucault, demonstrate how prison-=like schools support "and underlying philosophical orientation towards social control that exacts a heavy toll on students, teachers, and the entire school community"
1 AnswerHomework Help8 years agoDoes your dog play with a laser pointer toy?

7 AnswersDogs8 years agoIs it against Marine regs?
Is it against Marine Corps regs to wear desert cami pants with name tape still on without full uniform and looking like trash?
Tonight, while waiting for class to start, this guy in my class walks up to the teacher. I look at him and notice his pants and note that they look an awful lot like Marine desert cami's. Because he's wearing no belt and his pants are hanging down, he reaches to pull them up, lifting up his black jacket a bit so I can see there's still a name tape on them (said "Lemone" or something similar). As he's sitting back down I see he's wearing a loose black shirt, not tucked in, so not full uniform. After class, I see him walking to his car and the pant legs are dragging the ground (It's also wet from the rain).
I wanted to call him out for looking like garbage while wearing a piece of the Marine uniform, but didn't want to look like an moron since I'm not sure of the Marine regs (I'm a Navy veteran, a bit rusty on my regs), since I'm not sure if you're allowed to wear the uniform like he was wearing it.

3 AnswersRock and Pop8 years agoWhy do my cats like to lay on my clothes?
Whenever I leave clothes on the floor, bed, or where ever, my cats ALWAYS lay on them. Even if my fiance has left something where they could reach, they will still pick my clothes over my fiances. Why is this?
6 AnswersCats8 years agoWhat happened to my cat?!?
I have 3 cats who are about 9-10 months old that we adopted at about 6-7 weeks old, saving them from going to a shelter. 2 of them have always been little lovers and the 3rd one, up until about 2 weeks ago had always been very shy, reserved, and hardly ever wanted to be petted.
About 2 weeks ago, this changed completely! He is very vocal, cannot get enough attention, loves to be petted, cuddling with his brother and sister. I'm very happy he's come out of his shell, but I'm just wondering what brought on this sudden personality change in him? What do you think?

1 AnswerPC8 years agoTreating depression naturally?
I have no health insurance, and can't afford to go see a proper doctor for the depression I've been suffering from for quite awhile. I've been trying to treat it naturally with exercise, St. John's Wart, and lots of sunshine and positive thinking. Do you think this will help me overcome this? I just want to feel normal again!
5 AnswersMental Health8 years agoSmoking in public areas?
In your honest opinion, smoker or non smoker, why do you think smoking in public areas (like parks) should or should not be banned?
I'm working on a speech on why it shouldn't be banned, and wanted some opinions. What's yours?
1 AnswerOther - Health9 years agoWhy does McDonald's have 2 order boards for food?
but still only one window for payment/pick up? Yeah, you can order your food sooner, but it takes twice as long to get it because you have to merge into a line for the payment/pick up windows where there is only one of each.
It just seems like more of a hassle to me. Why do it this way?

1 AnswerHomework Help9 years agoIs fate telling me not to do my speech?
I had a speech due almost 2 weeks ago, however it seems fate has decided it doesn't want to me to give it or so I think.
The first day it was due, class was cancelled due to teacher illness. The next time I had class, we ran out of time for everyone to do their speeches, so I got lucky, again! And the following Tuesday, we were on fall break, so no one had class, and then yesterday, the entire campus was shut down due to a security issue, so I didn't have to do it again.
Is fate trying to tell me something? I feel pretty lucky though! But between work, and other classes, I haven't had time to practice it too much, or study for my mid-term in that class either.
What do you think? Coincidence or something else?
