Hello to all, I am a forma assistant Pastor of a Large Baptist Church during the early 80s. Today, I am no man's religion, I have studied with and investigated most major religions. I believe in respecting the thoughts and views of others. I believe the scriptures but with the understanding many changes were made during the various translations from the Heb and Greek. I believe Yahshua, Yahweh, Elohim is the correct renderings as opposed to the inserted names : Jesus, Jehovah, Lord, God, Christ etc. These names and titles is false and does not in any way reflect the creator or the God of the bible or his son. I believe in providing some level of proof for everything I say. I believe in both Science and Scripture where they are undisputed fact. I am neither for or against any religion or none religious or political group. I believe religion is man made mind control. I can believe nothing that doesn't respect my right to reason or question it's validity or resp

  • EVER DID YOU ATTEND A CHURCH THAT REFUSE TO COLLECT ANYMORE MONEY ON THE MERITS THAT THEY HAD COLLECTED ENOUGH?

OR WHERE ONE CHURCH VEIWS, BELIEFS, WAY OF WORSHIP WAS THE EXACT SAME AS THE ONE DOWN THE STREET?.......

I have something for that, tell me what you think:

    >>

    Isaiah 56:10-12

10 His WATCHMEN are BLIND: they are ALL IGNORANT, they are ALL DUMB DOGS, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11 Yea, they are GREEDY DOGS which can NEVER HAVE ENOUGH, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they ALL LOOK TO THEIR OWN WAY, every one FOR HIS GAIN, FROM HIS QUARTER.

    >>

CAN YOU PRECEIVE EACH CHURCH YOU SEE AS A MAN'S QUARTER?

  • 2 Corinthians 9:7. I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK ON THIS PASSAGE FROM THE HB ON GIVING. I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.?

Now I hear tell someone like to talk about their Minister, Pastor or Priest and they all seem to love this person and speaks very highly in regard to how WONDERFUL of person they are....We will test that wonderfulness today. Now below is this passage they like to call to YOUR attention when they want to ASK you for MONEY:

    >>>>>>

    2 Corinthians 9:7

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: FOR GOD L0VETH A CHEERFUL GIVER.

    >>>>>

Strangely they all seems to think this passage only applies to YOU and most of you bought into that. Hear then is what you have been CHEERFULLY GIVING INTO:

    >>>>

    1) TITHE 2) OFFERINGS 3) BUILDING FUND 4) PASTOR'S APPRECIATION 5) PASTOR'S ANNIVERSARY 6) DEACON AND DEACON S DUES.....And just every which way you turn the ministry has got to have something do with EXCHANGING MONEY for a PRODUCT. Do you think it's a small chance that it might be the same as:

    >>>

    Matthew 21:12-14

12 And JESUS went into the temple of God, and CAST OUT all them that SOLD AND BOUGHT in the temple, and OVERTHREW the tables of the MONEYCHANGERS, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED THE HOUSE OF PRAYER; but ye have made it a DEN OF THIEVES.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and HE HEALED THEM.

    >>

A.) Now if you noted, JESUS / YAHSHUA what have you, he was not concerned with how much money they was collecting.

B.) He didn't stop by to collect his TITHE or any money period.

C.) Those that did he drove out and overthrew their operations.

D.) Then, HEALED those needing HELP without charging one red cent.

E.) Now THAT'S a WONDERFUL man, Minister, Pastor, Priest or CHEERFUL GIVER.

    >

NOW I KNOW NEARLY EVERY CHURCH IS FILLED WITH NEEDY PEOPLE? TELL ME WHAT IS THAT PASTOR, MINISTER, PRIEST DOING TO HEAL THESE LIVES IF HE/SHE IS SO WONDERFUL?

  • THIS IS THE SAME LAW THAT REQUIRED OF THE JEWS TO PAY TITHE, EAT PASSOVER (now called: Lord's Supper)?

AND IMMERSION IN WATER (called Water baptism) I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW THIS:

    Deuteronomy 14:8 -

8 And the SWINE, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, IT IS UNCLEAN UNTO YOU: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.

10 And whatsoever hath NOT FINS AND SCALES YE MAY NOT EAT; it is unclean unto you.

    >>>>>

Now THAT law was ABOLISHED/BLOTTED OUT in the Messiah's DEATH on the cross (Eph.2:15, Col.2:14)

Now here is what that means for YOU, all of YOU!:

    James 2:10

For (( ( WHOSOEVER ) )) SHALL KEEP THE WHOLE LAW, and yet OFFEND IN ONE POINT, he is GUILTY OF ALL.

    And that means THIS:

If you will do the BAPTISM and the TITHING and the LORD SUPPERS, you are also OBLIGATED to do all the rest of it and you can't PICK which parts you think you like.

That means: No BLUE CRABS, no LOBSTER, CLAMS, STONE CRAB, SHRIMP, OXSTERS, CATFISH and NOOOOO!!! PORK CHOPS!!!

  • If the title Christ is a translation of the Gk. Khristos which is also a translation of Heb. Mashiah / Messiah?

    Word Origin & History

    Christ

title given to Jesus of Nazareth, O.E. crist, from L. Christus, from Gk. khristos "the anointed" (translation of Heb. mashiah; see messiah), from khriein "to rub, anoint." The L. term drove out O.E. hæland "healer" as the preferred descriptive term for Jesus. A title,

    >

    (AND)

    Origin:

1250–1300; < Latin Chrīstiānus < Greek Chrīstiānós, equivalent to Chrīst ( ós ) Christ + -iānos < Latin -iānus -ian; replacing Middle English, Old English cristen < Latin, as above

    >

According to this definition, the word has only been in use anywhere at the most for 750 or 762yrs.

If we subtract 750 yrs. from 2012 yrs. that would mean the word Christ from it's earliest usage came 1262 yrs, AFTER the said person it is attached to.

    >

    Here is the questions:

    1) How could the person who die on the cross as a savior to all mankind could have been known as CHRIST it the word didn't exist until 1250 - 1300 yrs. AFTER he was dead?

    2) How could his followers write anything containing the word CHRIST, CHRISTOS, KRIS etc. whether it be in Latin, Greek or English if no such words existed anywhere at the time they wrote?

    3) All the words are defined as TRANSLATIONS from the Hebrew word MASHIAH which is translated in English as MESSIAH but none of the words is a correct translation into either language?

  • According to the bible, God takes responsibilty for birth defects? If so, then?

    Exodus 4:11

And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

    >

He also takes resonsibilty for correcting these defects for some but not all according as it please him:?

    Deuteronomy 32:39

See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

    >

In the case of same sex, as much as I would like to believe this to be a personal choice by many, according to this example below, it raises serious questions:

    John 9:2

2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

    >

If the man in the quote did nothing to come out as he did, not his fault, not his parent but as said: "that the works of God should be made manifest in him."

    1) Doesn't that say God is responsible for his blindness?

    2) Does it also say God is the power to correct his blindness if he wills?

    3) Did this man in any way choose his condition?

    >

By the same example, the bible says:

    Matthew 19:12

For there are (((SOME))) EUNUCHS, which were SO BORN FROM THEIR MOTHER'S WOMB: and there are (((SOME))) eunuchs, which were MADE EUNUCHS OF MEN: and there be eunuchs, which have (((MADE THEMSELVES))) eunuchs FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN'S SAKE. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

    >

    4) If we used this example in the case for same sex relations, would it be fair to say SOME but not ALL are born that way while others may have been made so of men and SOME by choice?

    5) If so, then who are we to judge and condemn these people for something totally in God's hand to do as it please him whether it be to WOUND or to HEAL, to BIND or RELEASE?

    4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years ago
  • A few ?s 4 both sides:Does the bible condone same sex relationships or marriages? O.T. vs. N.T.?

Now before you get all pumped up! the question is: "Does the BIBLE, not the U.S. CONSTITUTION."

    (O.T.)

    Leviticus 18:22

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

    Leviticus 20:13

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

    >

    (N.T)

    Mark 12:30-31

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

    Romans 1:26

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

    Romans 1:27

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    Romans 13:10

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

    >

    1) If you was a bible believing Pastor or Priest, base upon this information, could you condone same sex relationships?

    2) Could you hate, oppress, despise or evil treat your neighbour in any way for being so?

    (U.S Constitution)

" One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for ALL"

    3) If you was the President of the United States, according to this document, could you condemn same sex relationships or marriages even if it goes against your religious belief?

    4) If you were a VOTER for a candidate for President of the U.S.,would you expect the President of the U.S. to be your pastor or priest and to impose his religious beliefs in to political decisions?

  • 4 Gay religious folks: If Gay life is morally right, then why?

Why can't two women or two men produce offspring to continue their morality if that was proper?

Why the man can't produce off springs without a women or a women bring forth without a man, if man to woman is not the proper way?

If everyone was gay, humanity would cease, because gay is improper answers to why gays must adopt in order to have children.

Doing things the proper way: man to woman, everything goes smooth in terms of future generation. Therefore Gay life has other meaning as to why it exist and has always existed and will continue to spread and grow.

You do not wish to hear the meaning of Gay life, why it exist, why it will never die and why in your mine you think it's perfectly right base upon your feelings and desire for the same sex, so I will leave that out with all due respect and love for you and all.

    >

If to this date, a man with a women is the way to go in terms of reproduction, would that not tell that that's what God calls proper while the other is improper?

  • Is there such a thing as a Gay sin? or is it all sin no matter what the sin be?

If so, then why do the straight basket of folks think they have an advantage over Gay folks when it comes to sin?

Why is that you can love me a sinner as a straight person, but you condemn the Gay person to hell as if his sins are greater?

God dealt with a whole city of Gays in old time, If it is true that he feels the same way, why not let God be the judge while you preach his love and mercy instead of these hell fire and stone directed at gays for their choice of life?

If in the bible, God caused a BLIND man to be born blind or a DEAF man to be born deaf and even MUTE, all to his glory, can the same God cause that Gays are born gay to his glory also?

Is it a sin to be gay? or is the sin based upon what you do against God's laws gay or straight?

  • Gay rights question for religious folks?

Under the U.S. Constitution, should a Gay person have the exact same right as do a straight person?

If not, how is that justice for all ?

Marriage: Under the Constitution, do a straight person have the right to marry any race of the opposite sex as they so choose and desire?

If so, why is a gay person denied his right to marry who he will under the Constitution?

Now I am not taking God's laws, just the rights as a citizen under the Constitution.

Do Gays have the same human rights under the Constitution as do straight or should they?

  • Do you believe this biblical event? was it physical?

    Daniel 3:22-25

22Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

25He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

    >

    1) Flames so hot it killed the King's servants but did the Lord's servants no harm and you believe this to be physical?

    2) If the King alleged that he seen a four man in the fire loose with the other three thrown in and the fourth has the form of the "Son of Man", would he be seeing that glorious form of the son of man with physical eyes?

    Matthew 17:2-9

2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

    3) According to these passages the "Son Of Man" was TRANSFIGURED before them and they all saw his glorious form in a vision?

    4) Is this how it was possible for the king to see the form of the son of man?

    5) If so, wouldn't that mean the fire these men was casted into wasn't a physical fire and that which smote the king's servants also wasn't physical?

    6) If that's how it happened, wouldn't that mean the king saw these things in a vision or dream and by that means there were no harm to Shad, Me and Abed, nor any smell of smoke upon them because the thing wasn't physical as it reads?

  • Why did Messiah wait 4 days to raise Lazarus from the dead when he knew he was sick and exact moment of death?

    John 11:23-25

    King James Version (KJV)

6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.

14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

    >

    Other questions:

    1) According to the text his reason was not based upon fear for his own life (11:9)?

    2) It was said that he loved Lazarus (11:3)?

    3) He knew before hand that Lazarus's sickness and even death was for the glory of God, so none of it was a surprise to him (11:4)?

    4) If indeed this event was for the glory of God, then, what significants does waiting 4 days to raise Lazarus from death has to do with the glory of God?

    5) According to the text it was said: "He that lives and believe in him shall never died" Did Lazarus die again after being raised from the dead and didn't he believe in him before he died the first time?

    6) John 12:33, 2 Pet.2:14: Did Moses and the Prophets, his Disciples and others who believed in him, did they die?

    7) What are the deep mysteries hidden in these words?

  • Jehovah, straight from the dictionary: Is it God's name or just another name he has been called?

    Word Origin & History

    Jehovah

1530, Tyndale's erroneous transliteration of Heb. Tetragramaton YHWH, using vowel points of Adhonai "my lord" (see Yahweh). Used for YHWH (the full name being too sacred for utterance) in four places in the Old Testament in the K.J.V. where the usual translation Lord would

    Encyclopedia

    Jehovah

the God of the Israelites, his name being revealed to Moses as four Hebrew consonants (YHWH) called the tetragrammaton. After the Exile (6th century BC), and especially from the 3rd century BC on, Jews ceased to use the name Yahweh for two reasons. As Judaism became a universal religion through its proselytizing in the Greco-Roman world, the more common noun Elohim, meaning "god," tended to replace Yahweh to demonstrate the universal sovereignty of Israel's God over all others. At the same time, the divine name was increasingly regarded as too sacred to be uttered; it was thus replaced vocally in the synagogue ritual by the Hebrew word Adonai ("My Lord"), which was translated as Kyrios ("Lord") in the Septuagint, the Greek version of the Old Testament.

    >>>>>>

    Questions:

    1) According to these two very different definitions, one is defined as certain the name is not Jehovah calling it: "ERRONEOUS" Is that true?

    2) One held that YHWH believed to be YAHWEH was replaced by Adonai meaning: "My Lord" and that Jehovah is used in place of that four times in the KJV, doesn't that mean Jehovah is a further deviation of the name Jews already disregarded?

    3) One believes the name was held to sacred to be spoken, thus replacing it with the related word "ELOHIM" and then using the inserted word: "ADONAI where the actual name would occur?

    4) How could God have a name which he gave to be "DECLARED THROUGHOUT ALL THE EARTH Ex.3:16, 9:16" and in which he wanted to be "REMEMBERED THROUGHOUT ALL GENERATIONS" certainly becomes to holy to even speak?

    5) Mal. 1:6, John 17:26 Matt. 28:19: Did the Prophets, Messiah and his Apostles follow and obey these Jewish rites not to use God's name?

    6) Last but not least, how could ANY religion claim to be of God and to have heard from God or whose message is said to be from or of God and whose message is to be preached in the name of God, how could that with that high regard not know for sure is proper name?

    7) If the names they have selected might be true, wouldn't that also mean they might not be true?

    Revelation 20:6

13 And YOU, BEING DEAD in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he QUICKENED TOGETHER WITH HIM, having forgiven you all trespasses

    4) Which one is this? 2nd, 3rd?

If Paul said: "YOU, being (( DEAD )) in your sins (( HATH he QUICKENED )) together (( WITH HIM ))"

    5) Does that mean we have PART in the Messiah's resurrection by FAITH?
