I am carrying out a preliminary design for the remediation of a semiconductor wastewater. My last three unit operations are two ion-exchangers and an electrowinning unit.

however, I am having a tough time moving past the first ion exchanger. it involves the removal of ammonia using clinoptilolite. I really need the non-ionic stoichiometric balance equation to the reaction within the exchanger. I think this will help me with the material balance.

The second exchanger is gonna remove heavy metals; Sn, Cu and Pb. I don't know what resins to use for this and Iv been unable to carry out the material balance. I also need a non-ionic stoichiometric balance equation within this ion-exchanger.
