14 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhat do you think of girls that get involved with men on the internet?
It seems when they run off with the guy or get kidnapped and something bad happens to them, you would think other girls would learn from another girls experience.
4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoIf you think a person is a manipulator, does he/she know that they're a manipulator?
There's something about a co-worker of mine that I feel is a manipulator. She can hype things up so good to make you either do things as she see it or make you think she knows it all. Management is so convinced at her "knowledge" that when things tend to not fall into ordinance like she puts it, they realize that her input is not reliable. Do you think she knows she's a manipulator? Also, what makes a person a manipulator?
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoI have a birthday coming up pretty soon and I want to treat myself by playing the lottery, how should I do it?
On Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, that's when the big lotteries are played. I'll be 43 soon. Should I play 43 lottery numbers on one particular day or should I play 11 numbers on Tuesday, 11 numbers on Wednesday, 11 numbers on Friday or 10 numbers on Saturday? How should I do it?
5 AnswersGambling1 decade agoMy friend has decided to take on her daughter's responsibility, I don't agree. What do you think?
My friends daughter, who is 17 years old, just found out that she's four months pregnant. My friend, who I think is a VERY good mother, has always taught her children about the responsibilities and the consequences that come along with making the right decisions in life. Well, my friend has decided that she is going to take the responsibility to raise the child so the daughter can go to college (away from home) and go on with her life. My opinion to her was, not to do it. My reason was because my friends has been a single mother herself for 24 years (she has other children). I felt that the 17 year old should suffer the consequences and put her life on hold and raise her own child until it's the right time for her to continue to get on with her life. I feel the baby is her life and responsibility. Do you think as parents, we tend to let things go too easily?
6 AnswersFriends1 decade agoI'm dealing with a manipulative team leader, what boundaries do I NOT cross?
About a month ago, my team leader/supervisor (I really don't know what she is) went straight to the facility manager and complained about something I really didn't know I was doing wrong. She never bought what I was doing to my attention and did the unthinkable. I have since distanced myself from her and only communicate with her on a professional level. If she asks any questions, I only respond with a yes or no and that's it (no dialog). She keeps coming around me as to try and see what buttons she can push, by asking off the wall questions that she already know the answers to. It's like she wants me to say something to jeapardize my job. I want to say to her "please leave me alone" or "please get out my face." Am I crossing the line? What boundaries do I NOT cross?

12 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDoes having served in the military mean that you have more knowledge than anybody else?
I'm in a position where I'm working at a facility where the boss has a military background. He let's it be known at every meeting that "When I was in the military.......yada, yada, yada." And uses that to intimidate the employees with fear by threating them "If you don't like it, then I suggest you start looking else where for employment." Nobody is ever right, it's his way or the highway. Your idea or comments don't matter........."I'm the boss." What can be done about this behavior and does being in the military mean you know more than anybody else?
13 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhy does it bother me so much that my co worker is "milking the clock" for not doing any work in return?
This has been an on going problem for about two years now. The co worker WILL NOT leave work at the proper time (8 hr. shift). Instead they "pretend" to be productive when in fact everybody already know the routine the co worker carries out E-V-E-R-Y SINGLE DAY! Even on the way to the time clock, the co worker has to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, go to the break room, yada, yada, yada, to get that extra five to ten minutes. Reason why I know all this is because I'm working a later shift than they are, and I've taken notice to this behavior for a long time. I've even ask my supervisor if I could switch with this individual to help cut out the overtime. Why is it bothering me so much?
