I've been planning on changing the pay rate for my workers. The system my dad used was to over pay everybody, give everybody a job, and have little in profit to reinvest (%10 of revenue). Right now they make an average of $18 an hour. I.E.

$1000 in revenue, -$700 in wages, -$200 in expenses= $100 in profit (just an idea of how he ran it.)

My thought is to pay minimum wage then after the week. Take the total revenue, minus the wages and expenses. The remainder take 40 percent as profit and the remaining 60 percent divided to them as a bonus. I.E.

$1000 in revenue, -$320 in wages, -$200 in expenses= $480 x %40 for profit margin $192= $288 bonus pay.

Old System: $100 profit and $700 in wages

New System: $192 profit and $608 in wages

These are of course examples but I wanted to paint a picture of the idea I had. I figure the new system could allow me to invest in expansion of my business as well as provide an incentive. The less material they need and more efficiently they work the more we can make thus the bigger the bonus therefore paycheck.

I'm pushing 30 now, own a business, not a rich man but independent and stable. I didn't get any play in high school, and my 20s was filled with plenty of rejection from good women who wanted bad men. I was never approached but now these same women are interested in me (I lived, I learned, I improved). But now younger girls in their early twenties, decent women all the same (I got a nose for good and bad), are now somehow approaching me. I do want to date some of the women who have rejected me but I don't want somebody's leftovers. Should I date the women my age or see what happens with the younger crowd?

I was downloading a mod but ended up with "Windows Security Master". It loads up as soon as I boot up the computer. And you can't exit out of it.

So I restarted the computer and went to the settings by holding shift when I pushed reset. When I get to the safemode option and hit start the screen goes blank without giving me the menu to select which safemode I want.

What can I do, it won't even let me do a full system recovery.

We're discussing political correctness at school and we have to view the clash of cultures in regards to the political sphere and mainstream media. For my essay I've chosen machismo in the Hispanic community and the current debate about homosexuality.

That duck hunter guy said something about gay people and it caused controversy. But if it were a Hispanic male in that situation would the backlash been as large? The Hispanic community is deeply rooted with masculinity and homosexuality is often times used as an insult or to bust someone's chops. Typical things I have heard between males growing up are...

"you ran away like a gay" referring to the cultural perception that gays are cowardly or feminine.

"crying like a little 'maricon'" again referring to the perception that gays are weak.

"careful that's contagious" when somebody invades your personal space.

Other perceptions in the Hispanic community would be ideas that picking on smaller children or teasing kids at young ages could "b!+c# them" as my uncle would say. or "turn them b!+c#". Of course all these phrases would be some variation of Spanish.

But my real point is that while these ideas are common and the phrases have been all heard before. There is never any real hostility towards gays in the Hispanic community it's simply that Hispanics have always used frank and blunt words to describe other people and themselves. Calling a stranger "fat boy" in mainstream culture could be seen as an attack but calling someone "gordito" in Hispanic communities is generally seen as "hey you".

So would the left wing media react the same way if it were a Hispanic personality commenting his beliefs about the gays or would it be treated as two separate cultures. Would GLAAD had reacted the same way?

I'm a guy, I've always been geekish. I'm the kid that spent all freshmen year alone in the cafeteria and not mysterious loner alone, I'm talking about outcast alone, the anime kids thought I was a loser. Then one day in Sophomore year the school's resident 'mean girls' decided I was somehow interesting and the eight of them have been my friends since, this was in 2004. I didn't have any 'boys' so I literally spent high school giving and forcibly receiving pedicures and manicures because 'it's so cute'. For some reason they felt I fit in with them, totally non threatening that's what their dad's said which is why I spent many a sleepover watching god awful movies. But now it's nine years later and we all still run around together we still have lunch on Sundays and we all have this brother-sisters relationship.

I work as an industrial installer so I have gained 'boys' mainly coworkers so I have BBQs and all that but it's still hard for me to meet women. I know my girls have love for me because they freak out if I don't call at least one of them once a week.

I will be honest, these girls are mean. They've made many a girl cry and a Guido. That part of them never grew out of them but they've never been rude or mean to me. I am as they say the man in their life. I'm very happy with the friendship I have with them except for their tendency to drive away other women.

They have this tactic where they separate us the day I introduce them, four of them will ask me about her while the others will literally make her cry. We've had our arguments... I'm always wrong.

But now I met this other woman and they were surprisingly nice to her, I didn't introduce them until about the 6th month of us dating, this was yesterday that my girlfriend met my girls. They were on their best behavior, very curious about her, complimenting her etc. etc. I don't know if women can communicate without communicating but my girlfriend does not like them at all and she's telling me that I need to stop having them over to my house to swim, I need to stop greeting them with a peck on the lips, and they may not shop for me or decorate my house.

My girls have been with me for 9 years. Everyone of their tattooed, UFC, black and white color schemed t-shirt boyfriends have called me sport or champ at some point or another and eventually totally diss me to which my girls will kick them to the curb. I feel I owe this loyalty to them because they've never left me hanging. But I am afraid that if I let this girlfriend slip away I may never find a girl. I'd be surrounded by women but I'd totally be alone again.

And no I cannot just sleep with all of them because at this point it would feel wrong. I can't talk to them because I know them, they're pretty but their bitches and they will definitely chase this one away. So what do I choose????

I live alone, a bachelor, and do pretty well for myself. I read that depression and anxiety can do things to you but I am pretty happy. But weird things have been happening.

1. When I'm sitting in my room out of the corner of my eye I see a man walk up and look in from the doorway, but when I look to see there is no one there. It's been about two months now and it's happened like four times in three different rooms.

2. When I get up at night be it to take a leak or get something to drink, naturally it's dark but on two occasions I can feel something there, like an outline, like when someone is trying to sneak up on you but I reached out and nothing but air but I felt something was following me.

3. My den is downstairs and a living room both on opposite sides of the kitchen and dining room, I wanna say three occasions I walked passed the kitchen on my way from the living room to the den or vice versa and clearly saw a small man standing there but when I stop and look back there is nothing there.

4. Lately I've been experiencing that thing where you dream that you trip or fall and your body jumps and it feels like you fell so it wakes you up. It keeps happening almost every night, not so much a problem because I think it's actually pretty cool but still I don't think it should be so constant.

I know my house isn't haunted, it was built in 2002 in North Las Vegas, NV. I've been getting more and more paranoid lately too, I find myself getting home and I check the backyard and the whole house, don't know why just do. Now it's starting to freak me out and possibly starting to affect my social life, a few buddies came over earlier this week, we knocked back a few but I found myself on the verge of asking them to stay the night, I know I'm a grown *** man.

I have no significant problems in my life, my parents are healthy, my brothers are doing good, my nephews are all fine, business is booming, aside from number 4 I have no trouble sleeping, I'm in good health, I can't find any reason. This has never happened before. I figure it's maybe because I'm in a new home but I've been here for about 7 months now and it's been peachy until the last two months.

I mean you already have your money laundered with twice as much in cash sitting around. In a poor country you can already live like a king, I don't understand why not just quit, take the money and vamonos.

I went to a friend's bbq yesterday and I noticed most of the women were dressed kinda slutty, which I didn't mind but couldn't help but wonder why if

A. They were already married

B. Its a family function, everybody except me and a few others were related and we're all married.

C. Grandma was there shaking her head

I mean Mexico has strict gun laws but all that did was disarm law abiding citizens and left them at the mercy of the worst kinds of people. Granted Mexico has a weaker infrastructure, but how would gun control prevent gun violence here?

Without lowering the standard or quality of life?

Wouldn't a stronger infrastructure and access to modern technology make manufacturing easier and less expensive

The prison industry is growing, soon they will turn to work camps and the us will have affordable manufacturing. I need 5 paragraphs on this idea. Arguments for and against, pros and cons, probability, and the way it could happen.

The most common arguments from mma fans are:

-It's not an effective fighting style and all street fight end up on the ground (even though boxing is a sport, mma fans don't say football is not effective because you can't use it for self defense)

-boxers only fight for 3 minute rounds (that one is just petty)

-boxing is dead even though the sport still sells out arenas around the world, grosses large PPVs, and the highest paid athletes are boxers. (why not say kickboxing is dead?)

-boxing is for blacks and Mexicans (really? Boxers don't say mma is for Brazilians)

-all boxing fans are old just like the boxers themselves. (there's a whole crop of rising boxers finishing off their development, boxing fans are younger than ever primarily blacks and Hispanics but that's just coincidence at least in the US, the sport is popular in Europe and Australia, phillipines, and Japan.)

-Boxing is only one aspect of MMA (in the sense that track is one aspect of soccer? because they both involve running?)

So what is MMAs problem with boxing? Or is it that MMA just needs attention so they rag on boxing to get it? Why not insult basketball and football those are also sports.

Boxing still dishes out larger purses mainly derived from ticket and pay per view sales so it clearly has a large fan base, the purses are in the hundreds of thousands to the millions. Boxing champs are recognized world wide. It clearly has a following so why say it's dead?
