Graduated with a bachelors in applied mathematics and a minor in stats but most of my work experience has been in customer service . Finding it really hard to filter out

companies that are looking to fill entry level analyst or engineering positions. Yes i messed up big time by not doing an internship while in school but since i just graduated in the fall of 2013 are there internship opportunities still available which i could take advantage of. Thanks in dvance.

I am yet to take the actuary exams and i plan on taking the first one sometime in May. Are there firms out there that would hire me as an entry level actuary even though i haven't taken any of the exams. Most of the actuary jobs that i 've come across so far seem to require the successful completion of at least one or two exams. Trying to be optimistic here lol , hope u guys can prove me wrong. Im graduating with a major in Mathematics and a minor in statistics. However since my future is going to be in the field of actuarial science i was wondering if i could get a major in applied stats which would mean i have to take like 2-3 classes of statistics. However, i am being told that i would have needed to declare it upfront and that its too late for me to let them know now. This was my gf who told me this . Mine's been on it for like a week now and he seems to be drinking water like he's never done before. It scares me because he has an ailing back, and hence he hardly walks around even though i take him for a walk every day. He's 10 and i know arthritis and back problems are a commodity with aging dogs. Is it common for dogs on Cosequin to be drinking large amounts of fluid. THnx in advance

I'm sorry to say this, but almost every single time a guy has gone on a shooting spree ; we have branded the individual as being mentally disturbed. There was James Holmes who carried out the blood bath at aurora,the Newtown shooter, and now we have Aaron Alexis. It's almost the same strategy that the Muslims use whenever they kill large masses of people , they say "OH HE'S NOT A MUSLIM" and we say "OH HE'S A DERANGED PSYCHOPATH". Everyone just wants to cover their tracks bunch of BS.

I think people's mindset when it comes to watching a sequel is what makes them bomb. They go in with expectations that are sky high esp if the first one was a blockbuster and end up being disappointed. Home alone 1 & 2 were good but when the producers kept goin it was just cr@ppy. The same goes for batman, the last installment was like a big P0$

In the age of the switch hit don't think it ought to be an issue. If a batsman can switch while the bowler's coming in to bowl, why cant a bowler bowl alternate between off and leg spin during a 10 over spell. Sounds justifiable to me , what's ur take?

Are we stickin to him just cos we cant find a replacement or is it cos of politics ? Think it might be cos of the latter, Tharanga's way better when it comes to technique true he ain't been consistent besides that 174 he scored in the last game but the guy's got skills and temperament that are better than Dilshan's. Dilly just stands and delivers with lil or no footwork pretty much a replica of sehwag and gayle. Gayle is way more consistent compared to Dilshan in my opinion. Maiya is better off opening the batting, just need a suitable partner for him and we ought to be set.

To me both of them were exceptional runners between the wickets and great at finding the gaps in the outfield, however i felt that Hussey had a better technique as a batsman especially against the shorter ball. What are your thoughts ?

Think Sanath and Gayle have hit 6 fours in an over in test cricket against England but in ODI's the most fours i have seen in an over was Razzaq scoring 5 fours against Mcgrath.

This one's going to be a close call think it might be Ponting cos he played for a longer period of time than Rhodes. Stats anyone ?

I don't think it is as effective as the normal bouncer since there's enough time for a batsman to recover and adjust his stroke. What do you guys think ?

I think they really lack bowling options when it comes to taking 20 wickets in a test match. They sorely miss Malinga,Vaas and Murali being a SL fan it's sad how they perform in tests.
