I have a 97 Silverado and when it becomes dark enough for the sentinel to turn on the headlights my blinkers go crazy. the front blinkers are fine but the back ones will light up the opposite way that I'm turning and the brake lights will flash with the blinker while my parking lights become my brake lights. also the blinkers will not turn on as long as I am pushing on the brakes. was wondering if anybody has had this happen and knows what's going on, is the twilight sentinel bad or do I have a short somewhere? thanks

Hey was looking at a 15 watt 12 volt solar panel and was wondering if it'd be enough to power a regular light bulb. Also need to power a 115volt 6.5 amp pump for at most a minute at a time. So basically if I had this panel would I be able to plug a lamp into it and have it light for 5+ hours at a time with the possibility of running the pump? If not what size panel would I need?

I recently made a big stirring paddle out of fresh maple (literally cut of the tree). I was wondering if there is anyway to stop it from warping naturally. I'm going to be using it in brewing and most finishes will taint the batch. I heard mineral oil works. Any thought at all greatly appreciated.

My son was 4 almost 5mos old at the end of 2012. From what I've read on the web it says a child must live with you for 6mos and 1 day to be eligible. Can he still be claimed even though he wasn't 6mos old? What tax form do I have to fill out if I can claim him? Thanks for your time.

i have recently got a 1999 chevy silvarado 1500 lt but the heater core is shot. my work has an old s10 that they said i could have any parts from. was just wondering if the heater core from the s10 would fit in the silverado. just want to make sure before i go through the hastle of ripping off the dash. also the fuel pump is going on the silverado so was wondering if the one from the s10 would work on it. I want to build a speed control for a transfer pump I brought, I'd like to do it with a potentiometer, I know it's not the most efficient but I'm good with that. I have a 3 prong extension chord I want to use to connect it because I don't want to slice the chord on the pump. I'm going to run it from a battery to an inverter and then to the pump. Basically I want to know what value resistor I should use and how to wire this whole thing up. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to repose but I'm on a mobile device and it won't let me add details. The pump is 115v and 6amps I don't have it on me this is just from memory so I can't tell you the VAC with any certainty though I think it's 120. What would you recommend and how would I go about doing it? Thanks you guys are already a big help and again sorry for the repost.

I have two Kyosho mad science atomic force motors that won't run. They are really old dont really remember how old I was when I got the but I'm thinking it was about 10 years ago. Anyway I hooked both up to a charged battery pack and neither would run. Theyd vibrate and move a little but only for a second and stop. It wasn't consistent either. I'd have to wiggle the wire and about 1 out of every 10 tries would I get that. Are they done for or is there something i can do to get them going?Thanks.

Hey I need to get a rc motor that will get to to 1200 rpm or higher. What turn motor should I be looking to get? Also I've noticed most shaft diameters are 1/8", I need to get it to 1/4", would they sell an adaptor kit at my local hobby store or is it something I'm going to have to Jerry rig?

How many rpm will I need to get out of an electric motor(not car) to run a 55 amp alternator?

I want to build a voltage regulator for a guitar pedal. Basically what i want to do is take a power supply, split it before the jack and build a circuit to control the voltage going to the pedal via a pot. Anybody know how to build said circuit or know of a schematic online? Thanks.
