I want a reptile like a tegu in the sense that they are tame and chill but i cant have a reptile over 3 feet or under 1 foot. Any help? My friend has a tegu and i went over to his house and it was out of the cage in his bed

Im thinking about getting a tegu, savannah monitor, ball python, or a hamster. Ive never owned a reptile before so which would be the easiest and grow to be the smallest (im not including the hamster).
