  • Watford City North Dakota Oil Job Op?

I have an opportunity to work for a large oil company in Watford City, ND. It pays very very well, but the hours are long, and it is in the middle of no where (I think). Maybe it is great, but I have read some hunting forums that complain about the oil trucks, roads, etc.

I do bow hunt and the Badlands look inviting but I am wondering if it is complete chaos or a high paying job with a lot of hours (is there a catch?). I am willing to work hard but do not want to end up in a bad situation. Anyone with experience or advice?

  • Any AK-47 Recommendations?

I am searching for a low cost (375-425 $), yet reliable AK-47. I have heard the WASR vs NON WASR argument and the"never buy from Century Arms" claims, etc etc etc... After doing some research, the Romanian/Century WASR 10/63 looks like a decent buy ~ if there is no loose mag wobble, the canting is acceptable, the milling is correct, and the barrel is not blown out (If Century Arms really does offer a lifetime warranty these things may be corrected with time--I am lost). I have also heard many things about the SAR I & II, and the MAK 90. I am not a collector but want to buy a basic AK(M) without spending too much $$$. What are your suggestions and where do I find a good AK dealer (FFL) online?

Any suggestions - good or bad or indifferent are greatly appreciated.

  • Which Baseball card sets do you like the best?

I was really into collecting Baseball cards as a kid in the 80's. Which BB card complete sets do you like the most (or would you buy) from 1990-2011?

  • Any AR-15 Experts out there?

I am debating whether to buy a Colt SP6920 rather than searching and for an LE6920. The SP price is right at 1,049.99$, the LE is back-ordered (currently unavailable) at the same price. I have heard that there is not much of a difference between the two besides the printing on the rifle (but I have read that the LE does retain a higher re-sale value) -- What do you think ?

    Thanks

  • Paralegal information and advice please?

Are there any Paralegals or anyone in the field of law out there who can give me a brief job description of a paralegal (research, case studies, typing, etc) ? Is the work rewarding? I am in an intense job search and am considering a 1 year paralegal program. I have had no luck finding a current career/job with a B.S. in Health Science, E.M.T., with a English Masters degree etc.- I need to get my foot in the door in a specific field and I think the internship might help. I had business/tort law in college, did well and enjoyed it very much. The college counselors I have seen have recommended going through a paralegal program and then concentrating in the medical law -- is that how it works??? Is this field growing as fast as they say?

There are a few programs and all are recognized by the ABA--should I spend more for a major university or will a quality community college help me just as much? Any ideas are welcome.

    Thank you

  • -- Some AR-15 opinions and advice?

Hello--I need some advice concerning an AR-15. I am looking at a Colt AR-15 6520 Gov't Model A2 that sells here for 950$ (1,400$ for the Colt M4A3 carbine). I want to convert the M2 non removable handle with a flat top and mount optics. So my question is ~ which optic/scope would you choose for a 6520? - (I believe it is a 16 1/2' barrel). I am willing to spend some money on a scope but don't want to break the bank (I do not need premium combat vision). > OR would you just buy the 6920 M4A3 - as the flat top conversion might add up $$$. Please give me advice with your AR knowledge, any ideas are appreciated.

The rifle will be used very moderately to improve my shooting ability and accuracy (as well as owning a quality AR).

    Thanx
