  • a ctredit report question?

I've been getting money taken out of my check by my employer to pay child support i owe. Yesterday i got my credit report because i 'm in the process of moving. On the credit report it says I've had 7 delinquent payments in the last 2 years, a few being 120 days late how is this possible? Why am i being punished for paying on time? Or is it my employer who is causing this by making the payments late? And if so what can I do about it? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm 2 days from being homeless...

  • 73 corvette question performance issue...?

Hi all. The wife just bought a 73 stingray. The problem is during hard acceleration, like getting onto a freeway for instance, the car bogs down like it were out of fuel. I've replaced the fuel pump, carb.,all the tune-up parts, and the coil.I've even turned the points type distributor into an electronic ignitiontype distributor (petronics), But still the same symptoms. Tired of throwing parts at it and the only other thing I can think of is dropping the gas tank to see if there's a restriction somehow. I'm an auto tech by trade but never work on anything older than maybe the 80's and the majority are imports...ugh Anyway if anyone that's familiar with the older C3 type vets and can give any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 1973 Stingray-350CID, 4 speed, mild cam, edelbrock manifold and carb, hooker headers, but other than that near stock. Thanks for your time.

  • Harley Evolution motor question...?

Pulled off the nose cone on my 91 FXR single cam evolution motor because it was starting to whine. The pinion gear has about a quarter of the teeth chewed up, while the cam and breather gears appear to look O.K. Could this happen from the Cam not being shimmed correctly? Or maybe the Cam bearing itself is bad? Just bought the bike about a year ago so don;'t have any of the build information, Other than was told it has a mild cam and ss heads. Any input would be appreciated before pulling the cam, heads etc..UGh Thanks Joe

  • Anyone know of a good 2 into 1 exhaust system for a 1991 FXR?

I know that the FXR's have a limited amount of exhaust systems that can be run due to the mid controls. I'm running a Thunderheader now but the law around here tells me I have to change it due to noise ordinance issues grrr. Thanks for any advice.

  • Getting a male cat fixed?

I have a male cat that I think needs to be fixed. He was a feral cat and I got him when he was about 6 weeks old. He's now almost a year old and I'm having trouble keeping him in the house, and he sometimes leaves for 24 hours at a time. He's a great cat and is very friendly. Was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to have him fixed in the San Francisco bay area and about how much it will cost. Also after he's fixed will it effect his personality? Or is it possible for him to be mad at his owner for doing so? Thank you for the assistance and any information you can provide.

  • computer noise when changing web sites?

Was wondering what exactly it is that I hear from my p.c. and every p.c. that I've ever used for that matter. It sounds like a bunch of ants playing the drums somewhere in the hard drive vicinity. It happens more so when going to another web site. Thanks for any input and insight you can give to a amateur p.c. user.

  • Does anyone know if the engine timing is changed when a radical cam shaft is installed?

And if so would it be more advanced or retarded?
