I have a 97 nissan pickup stick shift, i was at a stop light and when i went to put it in gear my shifter just went around all the gears, it wouldnt let me try to put it in any gear, does this mean my transmission is shot, or is it something else, ive heard a couple different things of what it could be (flywheel, forks, ball joint) unfortunately the two people that told me those things arent mechanics. Can they suspend ur drivers license for an accident that happened back in 2004, my wife was driving my car that was uninsured got into an accident, paid the ticket in court. I just received a letter today from a company called HK Craig and sons saying if i dont pay $1700saying that my license will be suspended because the car was in my name. This is the first time anyone has contacted me about it since the accident in 2004.
