What am I missing here? My actions were misconstrued, I m so sad. Being falsely accused hurts.?
On Thursday I asked my husband to trim the citrus trees this weekend. He went into a 10 minute rant about how he doesn t want to do it and that I should hire a gardener to do it. I am sorry I asked. The last two times I had a gardener do it they chopped the trees down too far and they looked ugly. This time I didn t want that. Out of understanding for my husbands position, I decided to do it myself on Friday while he was at work. I thought it would make him happy that he wouldn t have to do it.
I was wrong!
He came home early, found me trimming the orange tree and was angry. He went to his mancave and watched tv while I finished. When I asked him to pick up a few branches he yelled at me and said my motive was to make him feel guilty.
My honest motive was to just trim the tree to my liking and to relieve him of the burden of having to do it. I never could have thought he would misconstrue things. I m sad about the accusation, he won t take it back. I am struggling with the idea that the man I m married to thinks I tried to hurt him on purpose.
9 AnswersMarriage & Divorce6 years agoWould you bail out your brother from jail?
10 years ago my grandmother died. My brother was executor to her trust. He stole money designated to me and my children to the tune of 15 grand. I didn't find out about it until 5 years after it happened when a friend of his confessed to helping him with the theft. Of course he denied it. We stopped talking to each other. I didn't pursue the money because I knew it was long gone. Yesterday I got a call from jail...he has been arrested, no one else to turn to-not his wife, daughter, or mother. He wants me to post his bail. It's set at 100,000.00. He has a lot of nerve.

My husband and I have been best friends with another married couple for 15 years. The other couples wife was always obese, I have always been thin. Recently the obese wife went on a huge diet and lost a bunch of weight. Her husband said to my husband that his wife now looks better than me in a bikini. He was watching his wife from inside the house getting into jacuzzi in the back yard and called my husband to come over and watch with him he also asked my husband if he appreciated looking at his friends new thinner wife while she was getting into the jacuzzi.
I think it's wonderful that he is so happy about his wife's weight loss and doesn't notice all the loose skin but why insult your friends wife? In all the years of our friendship my husband has never said to his friend that is wife is the best looking.
I'd like to know why.
3 AnswersFriends6 years agoDoes he have no conscience? I feel nothing but sadness that my marriage is falling apart. I cannot put a fake smile on my face and face?
The neighbors, they will know something is wrong right away. I'm isolating myself in the house. On the other hand my husband is out in the street joking, laughing, having a good time. How is that possible? Is he not even bothered that we are going to be hurting out children when they find out?
5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce6 years agoIs my husband selfish? We have a vacation home near the river. In the summer months we invite friends with us to spend the weekend on the.?
River. It is very fun. We go wakeboarding, wake surfing, water skiing, and we tow the kids in the inner tube. We all have a great time. Here is the problem....when summer is over, I like to go to the house during fall and winter and just do maintenance and enjoy the peace and quiet. After a whole summer of entertaining guests, I am ready to go to the house and not entertain but have family time and look after the house.
My husband wants me to take him wakeboarding all year round, he has a dry suit to keep warm while in the freezing water but for me who has to drive the boat, with the cold wind and all, I'm miserable. It's soooo cold in the winter there. If I don't take him then he wants us to invite people year round so they will take him in the water, but then I have to entertain year round. It's tiring for me. Additionally when I drive the boat, he yells at me about everything I do wrong driving the boat. One more thing...he is so addicted to wakeboarding that he says we don't go to the river house often enough and that the kid's weekend extracurricular activities should be cancelled so that we can go more often, but he shouldn't have to cancel his other interests like motorcycle racing and go kart racing that also take up entire weekends. Currently we go about 15 weekends per year and a little more than half of that is spent in the summer wakeboarding.
3 AnswersFamily6 years agoIf you owned a vacation home that was a 4 hour car drive away, how many times a year would you go to the home?
It is near the Colorado river and we own a boat. It's hot there in summer but cold and windy in the winter. The house has a mortgage and is not a financial burden.
3 AnswersFamily6 years agoEvery Memorial weekend we go to the river. This year, my daughter will be performing on the USS Iowa and we can't go. Furious husband wa..?
Wants me to cancel her obligation. I feel it's irresponsible. She is the lead singer in her schools jazz ensemble (11th grade) that performs gigs. It's an honor and good opportunity for exposure (she wants to major in music in college). We go to the river nearly every other weekend in the summer months. My husband is angry at me because I don't want her to let the band down and I also think this is an amazing opportunity
