  • Jordan River depth for the baptism of Jesus?

All paintings I have seen of the baptism of Jesus is water being pored on his head with a shell. I have heard the part of the Jordan River where John the Baptizer was was only shin to knee deep. Since the bible doesn't say how Jesus was baptized is it save to use reason and say he was baptized with water poured over his head?

  • Protestants view of angels?

Most Protestant Christians don't believe in the communion of saints. That dead people can't hear us. But I was wondering about angels. Do Protestant Christians believe angels can here us? Can they pray for us? We know 3 are named in the bible, and many many more are talked about in the bible. Where do they fit in with God's plan? Thanks for your kind answers.

  • Is Jesus our only Father?

Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit mentions Abraham is our father. And Paul says he is our father in Jesus Christ in 1 Cor 4:14. So I assume Jesus was saying we only have one Father (supreme Father that is creator of all, aka God) in Matthew 23:8-10. Because Stephen and Paul, inspired by God, were'nt lying I am sure.

  • Can I Pay off AMEX Credit Card Bill in 2 seperate online payments?

I have an Amex... I made a semi big purchase, because I had to, and put it on my Amex knowing of the reward points. Am I allowed to make a payment online now just to get that purchase paid off, and then make another payment for the rest of the billing cycle at that time? Meaning making 2 seperate payments, both not being late... Would this in anyway mess with my reward points?
