  • Organization tips to share?

Anyone have some tips they're willing to share about organizing the "junk drawers" of your house? I got a little box for business cards, but now I need to find a way to organize, for example, instructions for my kitchen electronics, etc.

Anyone have anything they're willing to share?

  • Tall plants/trees to pot?

We are ripping out the crape myrtle trees in our front yard and want to replace them with something potted. We want something large so it looks nice but we don't want to have to plant it in the ground in a few years. We were kind of thinking of getting Magnolia, but I guess you'd have to plant that in the ground a few years down the road...

We are in eastern north carolina

Any ideas/suggestions? Websites for beginner gardeners also appreciated!

  • Getting ready to rent out our townhouse?

I want to get a head start on preparing our two level townhouse for rent. This is going to be my first time so I need advice; should I concentrate on making the interior look "neutral" so that the renter can design/decorate however they please? Or should I spend a little extra money to put "style" in to the rooms?

Any advice/suggestions/links to helpful websites/books greatly appreciated

  • drain my slow cooker?

I'm making pulled pork in the crock pot and the recipe calls for me to "drain" it. This is my first time using a crock pot, but it looks like it's mostly fat, soooo... What should I drain it into? A bowl? I don't want to toss it down the sink if it's mostly fat....

I'm looking for a hairspray that will have a nice, natural look/feel while still holding throughout at least MOST of the day. I'd prefer Suave or Dove brands, but I'm open to suggestions. What do you guys recommend/prefer?

  • Standing ground water in my post holes?

We are trying to rebuild our fence after hurricane Irene but on the day we finished digging the holes to start pouring concrete we got a surprise isolated thunder storm that gave us about 3 inches worth of rain. We scooped the water out and waited two days and nights for the remainder to evaporate... but there's still quite a bit of water in the holes. We need to get this done ASAP what should we do? Can we line the holes with plastic bags or something?

We're using Quikrete concrete that sets within a 24 hour period, if that makes any difference.

    Acer Aspire One Netbook: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/LU.SDH0D...

pretty much the same computer except the HP has Beats Audio system, but it's useless without the $300 headphones to go with it......

  • Sora, Ventus, and Roxas?

I was hoping to get some clarification from some Kingdom Hearts fans. It's my understanding that in BBS Ven's heart merges with Sora's. But so did Kairi's. So why is it that, when Sora became a heartless in KH1, only Kairi's heart was released? Ideally, wouldn't both Kairi AND Ven's heart have been released? Or am I just completely missing something here?

  • Can I take my neighbors dog to the vet.... please read?

So my neighbor is going through a nasty divorce on top of working a full time job and has asked me to take his dog into the vet for a regular check up and some updates on her shots. I said yes and plan on making an appointment tomorrow, but afterward I thought "Am I even allowed to do that?"

Let me be clear; this dog doesn't go to any of the veterinarians around here, and we wants me to take her in to the vet I use for my dog. But this dog isn't mine, so....Does the actual owner have to be there for the dogs first time at the vet?

Should I encourage him to take the dog himself? I feel bad because all of his divorce crap came down on him at once and he only has about two weeks to figure it all out...

    please help me, hehheh
