Her doctor said she didn't need to stay home from school unless she felt the need to. But I have known so many with mono that all stayed homeand many that became very very ill. She has been cast in a play at school she really wants to do ...but I really want her to get well. Any body out there know of mild cases of mono? Any advice?

My Daughter is 10th in her class out of428...straight A's..including AP courses. and has a passion for community service and missions( went to brazil last two summers). We've been to the school and the fit is perfect. Chemistry right away with staff and students and felt like it was home. They don't interview until after they receive her Application. But I know that will go well. Problem is she is not the best test taker. only a 27 on act and she will be taking the SAT's for the second time in Oct. She had a score of 1870 on the first one...but feels a great deal more prepared for the second after studying this summer.

Will there be a cost regarding gaining this information?

He's quite small for his age. His pediatrician told him last year to try and stretch his bladder by holding in his urine to some extent during the day. Not working and I am concerned about the ill effects of Holding it in. Help?

My daughter is more cherokee than anything else. She has 2 great grandparents that were 100% cherokee. Does this qualify her for American indian tribal affiliation or for college applications? She is more Cherokee than any other heritage.

Ever notice that John Cusak and Jeremy piven are in so many movies together? Even way back when they were nobodys. Any clues of why and how? I think John is from the Chicago area, but I don't know about Jeremy. Producers, directors and casting agents must be in on it as well...does any one have inside info regarding that?

He has a form of C.Palsy and wants to be like the other kids. he's advanced in math. He's a whiz at poker. Yes I said poker...he almost never loses. Any Ideas?

For a little over a month, hair has been falling out (from the roots) and leaving near to bare spots and thining everywhere. I'm female so you can imagine how horrified I am. Then today i glanced at the mirror and saw a clump of tiny hairs on my cheek. I realized they were my eyelashes and just about lost it. About 1/3 of an inch on one eye and a 1/4 or so on the other eyelid were bare.

I know its not medicine, that's been ruled out. I really need to know if anyone out there has known someone with the same problem and what the cause may have been.

Please help.
