First some background so nothing can be assumed and you have the correct story to gauge your response, any reference to actual Florida laws or statutes would be much appreciated.

My employment with "Company BS" began on Feb 14th, when I showed up for my first day, for training, I was told by the owner he couldn't offer me paid training and I would have to do it on my own dime, this was news to me but accepted it as a friend of the family helped me land the position. On Wednesday, February 16th started my paid employment, by Friday, February 18th the decision had been made to put me in a Operations Management position on salary for 50 hours per week.

To shorten the story, over the next several days and realizing the owner expected me to be connected 24/7 and work well beyond 50 hours a week but still only get paid for the 50 since it was a "salary" position I decided to confront him in which he said we needed to go over separate ways. My employment ended officially on Monday, February 28th. During the period from the 16th through the 28th I worked everyday in some capacity whether on-site, in office, or via cell phone totaling well over 100 hours.

As of today, March 17th I still have not received any pay. Finally today, after trying to make contact with the owner for while I receive an email in which he states: "your check was mailed today due to my adjustments to your hours actually worked vs salary..."

I can only assume from this statement that he is planning on paying far less than what I truly worked since in his opinion working from the road or on the cell phone doesn't count even though your conducting company business, and not to mention he is taking it upon himself to change me from salary to hourly. I sent back an email stating that he must being paying me more than my salary would be then since I worked over what the salary hours require me to.

This guy is being shady and trying to find ways to nickle and dime employees since I have heard other complaints and our work relationship did not end on a good note, however, I'm still owed what I did in the time I was there.

Where can I go to report this if anywhere and what are the laws governing this activity?

Isn't really a question more than me being really annoyed at every damn question being: "Where can I watch so and so game LIVE Online?" Enough already, it's starting to make these boards not worth looking at.

I have a drug problem, pain pills. I know I need rehab, it's been a habit for several years now and I know I need professional inpatient treatment.

Within these last several years I have also ran into financial problems, not due to the addiction, that caused me to have to file bankruptcy. It's the type of bankruptcy that is re-organization of debt not an elimination so I have a large monthly bankruptcy payment for the next several years, during this time I am not allow to seek financing for anything, it's against the law.

All of my money goes towards supporting myself and my wife and making sure we have food on the table and a roof over our heads. What I don't have money for it what I really need!

Does anyone know of any scholarships, grants, anything at all? Even if there are places that specialize in financing for rehab let me know that as well, anything is appreciated.

I have a recipe that calls for 1 Cup of Dry Milk and 2 Cups of Water. I do not have dry milk powder. How much milk do I need to use instead? Would I just use three cups of milk and eliminate the water? Please help!!!

My wife had an ultrasound about a month ago and (2) nodules were found on her Thyroid, (1) on each side. She followed-up with an Endo Doc today and Doctor did another ultrasound and said she also saw some calcification's around the nodules as well. My wife is a nurse and knows too much for her own good and is now freaking out, as she has a needle biopsy scheduled for December 5th.

I have tried to explain to her that we will find out and take care of it regardless of what it is. Any words of encouragement or clinical information about Thyroid Cancer that could help ease her mind??

How long should I wait to have sex with my wife after her D&C. Not to be perverted or provide too much detail but I have a larger than average male parts (Larger than 8.5") and don't know if that is something to factor into the equation. Any advice or experience with similar circumstances are appreciated.

I love it. New York fans always talk a bunch of smack but when they have to play a big game on the road, forget about it.

My wife's computer a Toshiba Satellite L355 consistently drops the Internet connection from our router a NetGear WNR3500. My computer a HP Pavilion dv7, HP Photosmart 7480 Printer, PS3, iPhone, and Direct TV Receiver never ever lose connection to the router, just my wife's computer. So I have come to the conclusion her computer is the issue. I have sent it to Toshiba service twice, which they said nothing is wrong with the WI-FI card in the computer but they were testing it on a Wireless G network not an N that I have setup at home.

Will purchasing a NetGear WN511B Rangemax Wireless Adapter Card fix the problem of her computer dropping connection? It is the card NetGear recommends for my router. I just don't want to by the card if it will not fix the problem.

My wife was on fertility meds and took a shot to make her Ovulate on or about Sunday, September 13th. She went to the hospital today for some test unrelated to anything to do with possible pregnancy, she was involved in a bad accident two weeks ago but per hospital policy they performed a "serum HCG" which came back with a Positive result and a level of 46.

Do you think she is really pregnant? They said that HCG level is really low at the hospital today. She follows-up with her fertility Doc on Thursday to see if her levels have doubled.

We have been trying for two years and I guess we are looking for a glimmer of hope. Could it be her levels are low because of late implantation? Today should have been when she started her cycle, but she is never regular so we haven't put too much thought into that fact.

Any help or insight is appreciated.

I am somewhat experienced in InDesign, but want to get into Web Development, etc and I noticed Adobe offers the same products in an "Educational Suite".

Should I assume the Educational addition lacks key features compared to the normal CS4 software? Also, does the Educational addition over tutorials within the programs themselves?

I want to learn but don't know if the educational suite is designed to be used in a classroom environment with a teacher or if it is educational to the degree that the software it self can help teach?

I asked a question similar to this last night and wanted to re-phrase it a bit and hope for a different answer.

I am looking to build a website that has a Flash Intro page and elements within the site such as Drop Down Menu's, etc. Most WYSIWYG programs I have found do very little or no Flash Intro Pages, Drop Down Menu's etc.

Is there an all-inclusive WYSIWYG Program out there the does everything I am looking for? If not, what would I need to do to accomplish a Flash Intro page. I have not learned Flash and don't really have the time right now or the major dollars to spend on Adobe Programs. That is why I am looking for WYSIWYG Design Software.

Any recommendations?? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. By the way, I am looking for more than a program that just allows you to input text and change colors such as A4 Desk Pro, I need more flexibility than that.

I am looking to design a Flash Website or a website to have Flash features and prefer to use WYSIWYG programs. I have designed regular HTML sites and very handy graphically speaking when it comes to standard "static" design but don't have the time to learn Flash nor the funds to drop $1,000 on Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash Design.

I found a program called A4 Desk Pro and it is fairly straight forward and easy but it doesn't let you fully customize the templates it provides. All it allows you to do is select different colors and plug in your text. I am looking for a little more than that. Any help is appreciated.

I have a 1979 Chevy C10, and based on the VIN it orginally had an Inline 6 Engine.

I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I have had no lessons nor do I even own a guitar yet!

I am interested in playing blues, jazz, and some reggae what type of guitar should I buy and what is the best way to start learning.

Should I pratice on my own? Get lessons, read a book, or what? What method is best for a true beginner.
