I have the plant on the left from IKEA. Is this safe in my house with my two kittens?

I know this is an odd question, but the people I share a house with are ridiculous with the heating, It's the summer and the have the heating on all the time. I have asked to switch it off because the heat is unbearable at times but they just switch it back on again.

These are the kind of people you cannot negotiate with as they threaten to not pay me back the rent I cover for them.

So I have a new boiler, been fine in the winter. Is there something I can loosen or press to make it stop working but not seriously damage it?

I have already black wet look leggings and red heels. Does anyone have any other suggestions? The more alternative the better.

I must admit it angers me to watch people living their normal day to day life. At what cost the rest of the world has to suffer so us in the West can have cars, meat, fish, diamonds, makeup etc....

I hate that we have brainwashed ourselves to think that we are so important we have the right to these things and turn a blind eye to the countless lives lost (animals and humans) just so the majority can go around with their pointless little dramas.

The best part of it is there's renewable energy we are not using and the worst part being nobody seems to give a **** about anyone they don't know.

Ok so i'm competing in endurance. I am aware that the most obvious answer is having a very fit horse to get a low heart rate. But I am just wondering if there are any tips that may help relax and ease the horse more for a vetting?

I ride a stallion and his heart rate is usually 38-46 after an endurance ride. However due to his wirey attitude his heart rate shoots up and the vet's claim his high heart rate is to do with unfitness, usually this occurs when a mare is getting vetted at the same time.

What can i do to reduce his heart rate back to what it really is? and reduce this frustrating experience after putting all that work in to get spun on a fluke heart rate? Thanks

About 7-9 times in this last fortnight, only when ive had a really good long nights sleep i find that when i get out of bed in the morning, my shoulders, lower back (feels like my kidneys), the top of my thighs and sometimes my neck? why is this only happening on some nights?

My exercise level is the same as it as always been and so is my diet.

Why is this?

I have my first endurance ride coming up this sunday and i have a navy Joules polo shirt with white on the sides. I would like to wear my white jodhpurs but im not sure if im allowed. If yes, then will i look stupid wearing white?

Ok, seriously, am i missing somthing here. There are tons of kid singers/actors out there and why is she so special? Miley/Hannah/ destiney hope cyrus, whoever she is, i think shes having an identity crisis. i dont HATE her by all means. just wondering why the hell is she evreywhere! i dont even see the annoying teens from high school musical as much as i see her!! it getting a little annoying.

Cant find no info on the breed of this horse i think it may be an Akhal Teke. What breed do you think, by looking at him. (ps i know he is used for endurance if this helps) he is very lively when ridden but a very loyal one person horse

Right im in school till june then im done. But for the past for months ive been noticing how much my 'friend' annoys me. I will use different names. Lets say her name is laura. She gives her opinion on everything, Everything! even when not asked for. I say "I'll have snickers for lunch" she says "i dont like chocolate" . DID I ASK FOR YOUR OPINION! every minute, every day! I have bough a pacer who is very wierd. hes been fetched back into work as not ridden for 2 years.hes a standardbred x and when on the ground you cant fault him. After bonding with him he will only let me mount him Ive only 'walked' with him at the moment, however he wont walk. he does a wierd jig his front legs are in between a trot and catner and his hind legs are doing somthing completely different. I got to keep a tight contact because when I give him rien he paces faster and faster and im afraid he will go. When I pull on the riens to stop at "walk" it has no effect no matter how hard I pull. having a bitless bridle, a snaffle or a happy mouth rubber straight hasnt worked. Hes in happy mouth now as he preforms best. His previous owner trained him for endurance but his attidude cant be trained out of him. Hes not a 'dirty' horse just confused and a little scared of himself. what can I do to make him stop? and if i give him rien will he gallop off or just pace faster. constantly.
