Can someone cite the constitution where it grants gays the right to marry?
I read that in writing the majority opinion - Supreme Court Justice Kennedy said of gay people wanting to marry: "The Constitution grants them that right."
I was unable to read the entire opinion.
Can someone quote the constitution where it grants them such rights?

6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender6 years agoI've read that before Islam began, "Muhammad adopted the practice of praying alone for several weeks every year in a cave"...But to WHOM?
I have read several accounts about Muhammad having had a practice of going to a cave and praying. But this was all before the angel Gabriel was supposed to have visited him which in turn propelled Islam.
So to whom was Muhammad praying to? What beliefs did he hold before Islam began?
What is the general understanding on this in the Muslim community? Or the scholars who have studied Muhammad's life.
I'm looking for very factual and reliable sources on this so if you can provide a link to the source of your information I would be very grateful.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy are my comments disappearing on YouTube?
All day I have been posting comments under the new Beyonce video. I am not writing popular comments on there. And I've noticed that my comments are disappearing.
Even though I can see then while I'm still signed in under the name I used to post the comments.
The reason I know they are disappearing is because I signed in under another name I have and went right back and looked for the comments I left using the previous name and they are not showing up in the comments section. They are totally gone. I was wondering why nobody was really responding to me much. Now I know.
So someone tell me - is this because so many people are doing the "thumbs down" on my comments which triggers youtube to block them?
If so - that's the most PATHETIC thing I have ever seen - and VERY scary. Because all this has done is squash the discussion. I never post profanity or anything and I'm always civil with my posts but now they are going to magically DISAPPEAR because some people put a thumbs down on them?
If that's the case then I will no longer be posting any comments at youtube which tends to defeat the intent of what they're trying to do anyhow. At least I thought so.
Indeed - we are living in perilous times when someone is wreaking such havoc on FREE SPEECH.
Thanks Google and Youtube. Nice work.
3 AnswersYouTube7 years agoYouTube FREE SPEECH Limitation DANGEROUS & a testimony to Genius of having a REPUBLIC & not a true Democracy?
If you didn't know - Google/Youtube will BLOCK comments after you post them. This is not a conspiracy theory. I've checked it with multiple accounts. I am guessing that if enough people hit the thumbs down on your comments then Google/Youtube will block those comments from being seen by other users. YOU will still see your comments but nobody else will. So they trick you in this way and do not reveal that your comments are in fact hidden to the rest of the public.
I have tested this myself all day today. As an example I went to the new wretched Beyonce video. And I began leaving comments about Jesus and the fact that Beyonce claims to be a Christian ( she has always claimed this publicly ) yet she is posting these vile and nearly pornographic videos for the world to see.
So i left comments about her Christianity and asking people what they thought about Jesus in consideration of the video. And I noticed I did not get any replies. Then I signed out of that name and signed in using a different name and looked for my comments and they were not showing. I'm guessing there are so many watching her new video and giving my comments thumbs down that youtube is hiding my comments. But when I sign back in with the original name the comments are showing again.
And it got me to thinking about about true Democracy vs. a Republic. One of the dangers of a true Democracy is the danger of MOB rule. Just because the MAJORITY is in favor of something does not make it good and right. The idea of a Republic is such that representatives are elected so that they represent masses of people. It can stave off the MOB RULE mentality.
So do you see the Danger of what google has done? They have STIFLED the discussion because the MOB is ruling. The minority no longer has a voice. The internet is LARGELY dominated by anti-Christian users and so the discussion is not a valid discussion when everyone's voice is not allowed to be heard. We have reached a very DANGEROUS time in this world.
Just as we have been warned about. What say you?
Come Lord Jesus.

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoAnybody know of Ted Cruz's use of Campaign Contributions? Relative to the 60 minutes episode last night?
Ted Cruz never came up last night on the 60 minutes spot. I'm NOT a Republican or a Democrat. I'm conservative in political thought but they all pretty much sicken me. I watched the 60 minutes eipisode last night where they showed how politicians from all sides were gladly using a congressional loophole to spend their campaign funds for personal use.
I posted about this on my facebook page. One friend quickly came to defend Ron Paul. Another friend was championing Cruz. It amazes me how these people will pawn off that it's "OK" so long as it was "their" guy who was doing it.
Anyhow, since 60 minutes did not mention Cruz last night I'm wondering if anybody knows of his use of campaign funds or where I could find out this information. Because I imagine it is VERY FEW of them who aren't dirty with this campaign funds loophole.
2 AnswersPolitics8 years agoThe Founders dont say which God in the Declaration of Independence. So of all Gods which one satisfies their?
When the Founders wrote the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain's rule they used the following terms in their Declaration:
"Nature's God entitle them"
"endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights"
"appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world"
"with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence,"
But they didn't "name" the God that they were talking about. So I would like to ask fellow Americans and anyone else who wants to give their thoughts. Of all Gods which man has ever known - which God fulfills those definitions which the Founders used to describe Him ( or Her )?
Again, they described their God as Nature's God. They described their God as "Creator." They described their God as the "Supreme Judge of the World." They described their God as being "divine." They described their God as having "divine Providence."
So people have told me that the Founders didn't name any god so it could have been "any" ole god. But they give specific characteristics of the god whom they are appealing to so of all gods "which" god can qualify? Anybody know? I'm very curious to know. Not all gods in history have all of the definitions given of the God of the Founders. So I'm just trying to narrow it down a bit.
If anybody knows.

2 AnswersIndependence Day8 years agoAtheists: have you considered that your beliefs mean your very existence is utterly meaningless?
Even if you try to ascribe meaning to your life - it is an illusion. It is all an utter waste of time. An exercise in futility.
You die. All is lost. The Universe dies. All is lost. So in your belief system - all that you do is utterly and completely meaningless.
How can you reconcile this? I don't rejoice in reminding of you of the logical end to your belief but my hope is that it will jar you into reasoning it out.
Surely, your life isn't meaningless is it? Surely, you have a PURPOSE don't you?
If you say to me - well I have a purpose regardless of what you say - again - it's all an illusion. You are merely assigning a purpose to your life when in the end - it really will not have one.
All will be completely. And utterly. Lost.
But the dead are raised in Christ Jesus. And I do hope you will turn to Him so that you will find your purpose.
Peace.
33 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAtheists: Who painted the Mona Lisa?
We have a painting that someone said was called the Mona Lisa.
What is the evidence that there was a painter? Because I would like for you to consider the idea that there wasn't a painter. Rather, the painting evolved over millions and billions of years.
Did you see the painter paint it?
Why do you believe this particular man painted it when there have been thousands of people who have claimed to be painters.
Because of eyewitness documented testimony that he painted it? Why would you believe such documents that were written in other languages long ago?
Why on earth should we put our faith in some old documents that were written by mere men?
The Mona Lisa EVOLVED!!!!!!!!!!

12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs it possible than an atheist was ever a former Christian?
If an atheist says he's a former Christian he is admitting one of two things. He was either a "false" Christian and really didn't accept the gospel or he is a liar.
So I say - hear the Gospel of Christ. And cry out to Jesus to save you from your sins. They're closing in on you. Death is coming. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But death is coming.
Most importantly - an atheist has to reconcile the fact that his entire existence is utterly meaningless. Because the second law of thermodynamics tells you that one day the universe will become so messy it will end. And every last thing you ever did or will do will be utterly meaningless. No matter which rebuttal you give me regarding this declaration - it will always be utterly meaningless.
Think about it. It is the logical end to your position. So I encourage you to re-think your position. Otherwise try not to get too depressed. And when you are at your bottom.
Remember - Jesus is always there with open arms ready to save you from the lies of atheism and from yourself.
Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Peace.
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAtheists: What are your thoughts on this?
I just posted a question in order to spur on some responses from atheists. I argue that the life of the atheist is utterly and completely without purpose. Why?
I don't rejoice in your beliefs but if an atheist is to be truthful - nothing you do really matters. Because in the end all will be lost. Consider an answer one atheist gave me who said, "No, I hope to provide a secure future for my children. I find joy and hope in them."
But all of this is lost once the universe is done. All is utterly useless. Your hope is gone. The secure future is gone. Your children are gone. All is lost. This is the logical conclusion for the atheist. All is lost. I don't rejoice in it. I'm making a point to the atheist regarding his or her end.
Another atheist said, "Atheists live life to enjoy it and make the people around them happy."
Yet this, too, is all lost. Blown away with the wind. Once the universe is done.
Another atheist said, "i find reality to be fascinating, reality isn't bad or depressing. Learning how things work and knowing how things happen does not make things any more marvelous or Beautiful."
And, yet again, all of the "fascination and reality" is lost. A chasing after the wind. Learning how things work and knowing how things happen will all be lost. It is useless. You will not remember it and all is lost.
This is why atheism is a lie. We are not here to black out and be lost. We are hear for an express purpose and it behooves us to seek out this purpose. And the purpose, as each of us well know, is found only in Christ.
Peace and love to those atheists who will ultimately become my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I can't wait to meet you on that day.
Yes, peace and love to all of you.

11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoDid you know that the atheist notion religion caused most war is a lie?
To correct any incorrect perception that religion caused more deaths in history than anything else people should know that in the book, "Encyclopedia of Wars," authors Charles Phillips and Alan Axelrod document the history of recorded warfare, and from their list of 1763 wars it turned out that only 123 have been classified to have been motivated by a religious cause. These wars made up less than 7 percent of all wars and less than 2 percent of all people killed in warfare.
If you look at the Crusades they estimated that three million people were killed and maybe 3000 were killed in the inquisition. Yet nearly 35 million soldiers and civilians died in the secular slaughter of World War 1 alone.
So for those who try to sell the idea that religion is to blame for most of the deaths in history here are some atheist Dictators who led rogue governments and the deaths attributed to their killing sprees:
Joseph Stalin ( atheist ) - 42,672,000
Mao Zedong ( atheist ) - 37,828,000
Vladimir Lenin ( atheist ) - 4,017,000
Pol Pot ( atheist ) - 2,397,0003
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAtheists only Poll: What is your position on abortion?
Since many atheists answered my last question regarding the basis for their morality - as something akin to "do no harm to others" then, whether you are FOR abortion or AGAINST abortion, what is the basis for your position?
Are there "any" atheists who are against abortion here by chance?
There are atheists who oppose it you know. See here: http://goo.gl/lCypk

If there are no OBJECTIVE morals then upon what do you base your morality.
If morals are SUBJECTIVE then anything goes.
Therefore how do you form a society as an atheist? Who will get to have the authority to say whether or not pedophilia or pederasty is wrong?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoBorn-Alive Infants Protection Act protects infants in botched abortions. Do the FEDS have to prosecute if....?
Since there is a FEDERAL law against killing an infant if it is born alive during a botched abortion - are the Feds ALWAYS obligated to file charges against any Doctor who kills the child?
For instance, let's say there was no law in Pennsylvania to prevent Dr. Kermit Gosnell from killing the babies alive that he is reportedly to have killed. So then would the Feds have come in and prosecuted him. Would they HAVE to prosecute him? Or could the Obama administration basically find a way to turn a blind eye to it?
