Love my babies.x
I'm 23, I have a lovely partner, we have our daughter who will be 4 in November and is starting full time nursery in September, our son who will be 3 also in November, and our baby girl who will be 4 months in over a week.x
Anti-biotics during pregnancy...?
Currently have a urine infection, have been prescribed Trimethoprim (which I've been told is the only anti-biotic that should clear it up).
My problem is that there is not enough research on the risks during pregnancy and in the leaflet that came with them, it said not to take it during pregnancy...
I'm just looking for opinions or personal experiences, thanks in advance...x

5 AnswersHair4 years agoPropranolol for head pressure?
I have been experiencing head pressure which affects the back of my head, eyes and ears. Also had numbers and tingling on the left side of my face and hand only once. MRI brain scan was normal. Neuro doc has diagnosed possible primary headache syndrome and prescribed propranolol starting from smaller dose and increasing gradually. Not sure if I want to take it as I have read it is meant for headaches/migraines which aren't my main concern. Will it help with head pressure and what side effects have others experienced? Thanks.
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management5 years agoWhat contraception to use?
I have tried the following:
Injection (constant period)
Implant (as above and major mood swings)
Proestrogen only Pill (forget to take it)
Condoms (cant get on with them)
Patch (wrecked the regularity of my periods)
What else can I try? What are the side effects? Your experiences?
Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersWomen's Health5 years agoWhy does my iPhone 6 drain my wifi?
I currently have landline cable broadband which runs at about 11mb/s.
I cannot have my iPhone 6 connected to the wifi when I am playing online Xbox 360 games.
Is there anything I can do about this? I cannot get fibre optic broadband.
2 AnswersComputer Networking6 years agoSymptoms of hay fever? Can it affect only one eye?
My 5 year old son woke up with a sore eye last night and complained there was something in it so I blew it and washed it, he then said it felt better. Same situation this morning except his eye had become red, watery and slightly swollen (I would imagine from rubbing his eye in his sleep?)
By 1pm this afternoon it was pouring water, bright red and slightly more swollen looking. I took him to the doctor who had a look to see if there was anything that could have been irritating his eye but found nothing.
After the doctor had called the specialist ophthalmologist, they came to the conclusion that it is viral conjunctivitis and advised to keep an eye on it (no pun intended lol) but sadly I'm not convinced as my experience of conjunctivitis is gooey eyelash sticking irritating stuff - which this is not.
I also noticed whilst in the gp surgery waiting room that he started having a runny nose...just gave him some anti allergy medicine to see how he gets on with that by the morning.
Hay fever or conjunctivitis?
1 AnswerGrade-Schooler6 years agoNot feeling good, any ideas?
I'm 26 and a mother of 3. I'm about 5 foot 5 and 13 stone (so am overweight).
Recently when I do certain things like walking up stairs or sit ups (trying to lose weight) I get a feeling of pressure in my head and starts a migraine. I had a reasonably good nights sleep but woke still feeling sleep and had a migraine all day.
Putting it down to being overweight.
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness6 years ago2 year old not well, its the 4th day now.?
My 2yo daughter was throwing up on Saturday and unable to keep food or drink down. Sunday til today she has napped more than usual, had an on and off high temperature and has bad diarrhea since yesterday.
Its obviously not a 24hr bug as its been 4 days. She won't eat anything like toast to try and sort the diarrhea, she's not really eating much at all. She is only having sips of sugar free juice now and then, not weeing very much.
The temperature has settled but she has had 3 naps lasting about an hour each since she woke up this morning at 7am. She doesn't want to play, is agitated and only wants to lay down. She seems weak when she walks.
Is this normal behaviour for a vomiting and diarrhea bug or should I take her to the gp?
Will probably make an appointment in the morning for her, just wanted some opinions. Thanks in advance.

1 AnswerOther - Pregnancy & Parenting8 years agocan giving your 1yo full fat milk make them fat?
i know that prob sounds like a stupid question, but i have 2 other children and never once gave them full fat milk at 1yo as they were drinking formula specially for that age which had all the nutrients (wouldnt ever think to give full fat only 2%). today the health visitor said once my daughter is 1yo i should stop formula and introduce full fat milk, but im worried it will make her gain weight alot faster...

1 AnswerOther - Pregnancy & Parenting9 years agoDo you give your baby the vitamin drops issued by healthystart?
with vitamins a, c and d. My health visitor gave them to me and insists that i use them. I never used them on my first 2 kids, and they seem healthy enough. If you do give them to your baby, do you think they work and do you think 5 drops is a bit much for a baby?
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby9 years agoWhich creams for eczema have you used and worked best for you?
my son has really bad eczema on his wrists, and inside of his elbows. I've been using euvamate and diprobase emollient cream. When i take breaks from using euvamate (because long exposure to steroid creams are bad for the skin) the eczema comes back with a vengeance! and the diprobase does nothing on its own. Also the second it comes back, my son keeps scratching it sometimes making it infecting.
Have any of you used creams that keep it away longer or do i have to keep doing what i'm doing?

2 AnswersNewborn & Baby9 years agoIs there such things as irregular contractions?
I've been getting these pains that are quite sharp just above my pubic bone and slightly in my back passage (sorry if tmi) and i've had to breathe through most of them, the thing is they aren't spread out evenly timewise and some are short and some are longer, but they still hurt. Could these be contractions?
