What is your Opinion on this?
Been with this guy for a year and a half, i left him because i couldn't deal with the pressure of school and how serious the relationship got, plus i wasn't sure how i felt about him anymore. About 2 months after the breakup, he went to a party and kissed a girl i thought he liked(i was friends with too) during our relationship and another girl who liked him during our relationship and whom i used to be best friends with. Before this, he has asked me not to date/kiss any people that he was good friends with until he was over me, so you can see the irony. We had a long emotional talk about it and he says he still likes me so much and hates being without me, he got really upset at how hurt i was about the party. i was reconsidering whether i wanted to be with him before i found out about the party which changed how i look at him so much.
Despite what i've said he's one of the best guys i could be with, but i don't know if i could be with him now after all this even though there are still some feelings there. I know for sure that i couldn't commit to a full-on relationship either, i would need to feel free but i don't know if this could work if our feelings for each other are quite different...
Please give your opinion and be very honest.
3 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoAre these men actually sexist or...?
Do they just do it for a laugh?
Fair enough with the "kitchen jokes", some of them are funny, but it's when some men actually believe women are inferior and belong in the kitchen etc that just confuses me. How did they even come to this conclusion?
Yes, in the past men were "heroes" but only because society suppressed women so that they had no chance to prove their worth.
There are plenty of funny sexist jokes about men as well, and yes there are women who are sexist and just idiots, but the media has made it acceptable for these representations of women to be broadcast and sexualised, leaving the rest of women to put up with the crap that comes with it. It is acceptable now for an advert to have a topless woman in it, when will it become acceptable for her to have her legs wide apart?
My personal conclusion to men being sincerely sexist is simply because modern society allows more equal rights for women, which in turn threatens these males sense of masculinity and degrading women makes them feel better.
PS: no not all men are like this, but it is becoming more acceptable for them to be, are we going back in time?
11 AnswersGender Studies9 years agoThe pill and timing it...?
Basically, i was wondering if: after your 7 day break, can you change what time you take the pill at?
I wanna change the reoccurring time that i take it at because it's an annoying time...
2 AnswersWomen's Health9 years agoWhy has my period continued while on the pill?
Okay, so i took my first ever contraceptive pill - Rigevidon - on saturday(2 days ago) as my period had come a little early. It was at around 8pm because that was when i just noticed the start of my bleeding. My period didn't stop so assumed it was just cuz the pill was still taking effect. The next day, i took the pill at 5pm as that's when i want to take it every time and the bleeding almost stopped. However, in the middle of the night i woke up with the most painful cramps i have ever had! i usually don't have any cramps at all. This morning my period came back and i got like 2nd-3rd type bleeding(brighter red and a lot more) and i still have some cramps but my dosage from yesterday should not have run out yet!
Should i keep taking the pill and see what happens or see my doctor right now?
2 AnswersWomen's Health9 years agoWhy are guys so childish?
They expect women to shave/wax their legs, armpits, pussy's etc and basically be flawless yet they don't care even half as much about their attractiveness. If they see a woman who has stubble on her legs or something like this they get grossed out but if you wax their legs as a joke for them or pluck their eyebrows they freak out at the pain! Even though they act as though they are really macho and can protect you...wtf...! Not trying to be sexist or feminist, i'm just so confused and frustrated with teenage boys, sometimes older.
6 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoWhy does Visa Verification do this?
So everytime i try to buy something online which uses Verified by Visa, the actual screen doesn't come up. It just says "for your protection we are verifying your payment card with your bank. Please do not click the browser back button or any other button." It has the little circle of dots that show it is loading but it has been for 30 minutes! i get this everytime and i don't want to click back or whatever in case it has taken the money out already. It just never loads... What should i do?
1 AnswerCredit9 years agoIs he her boyfriend or slave?
Bit of a long story, but i'll cut it for you guys. Basically, two of my friends have been going out for about 9 months, i'm not close to them but everyone can see it's not right. She has basically turned him into her slave because she knows he loves her to much to stand up for himself. Truth is, she is nothing without him and he used to be a really cool guy until he became socially incapable(she isolated him too now) She tells him to buy her food all the time and never even offers him any afterwards. Because of this, she has put on a lot of weight and i know they are still doing stuff together. All my friends agree that she has to take care of her body and treat him like a boyfriend - not a slave. She has also ditched her friends and relies on him for everything. We want to talk to him about it and tell her to get a grip but we also don't want to meddle. If they break up, both of them will be really depressed and he won't go back to how he was.... He might not even listen....what to do?!
3 AnswersFriends9 years agoAm i overreacting or is this a bit wierd?
My boyfriend went over to my friend's house today(girl) just the two of them. He said it was to see her cat(he really does like cats so makes sense) but i thought it was a bit wierd. To be honest, she can be bitchy sometimes so i wouldn't put it past her if she was trying to piss me off. Does this sound wierd to you or am i just being jealous and overreacting?
ps: i don't think he's cheating because i know him better than that and he finds her annoying but i am wondering whether she is using him to make me angry or whether she fancies him. He would never pick up on her doing something like this btw.
