1 AnswerMathematics3 years agoIs Smokey the Bear a cryptid?
Smokey the Bear is a (possibly) fictional creature with abnormal physical traits and possibly occult intelligence and power of the mind. He's something of a protector, a mentor, warning us about the dangers of fire and insisting that we respect nature. He also has been shown as protecting children, and coming down to warn humans of impending danger, much like the Mothman. At the very least, if he is not a Cryptid, is he some sort of Yokai or demon?
6 AnswersMythology & Folklore3 years agoWhat would you call vodka mixed evenly with cognac?
I'm asking because I witnessed this drink being poured in the 2003 movie The Room. My two names for it are the Sh*tty Martini and the Tommy Wiseau. This drink is clearly not a martini, bearing neither of the drink's ingredients (vermouth and gin), but having ingredients that are *kinda* similar. Likewise, Tommy Wiseau is *kinda* similar to an actor. If there is already a formal name for it, please feel free to drop it here.

4 AnswersHistory3 years agoSenior Project for an aspiring music teacher?
Hey there, my school does something called a "senior project", where you get judged on a three-minute presentation about something you are passionate about, which can be anything. However, it has to be memorable, remarkable, and show passion. It's very competitively judged, and is very important. I personally have a passion for music, and I want to be a music educator on the middle or high school levels (grades 6 through 12). I don't have to make this project until next year, but I'm stumped for ideas. Any suggestions?
1 AnswerHomework Help3 years agoWhy is Yahoo Answers so toxic to open discussion?
At all times I find "questions" saying that liberals are rapists or fascists and that republicans are rapists or fascists. People state their ideas and look for other people to affirm them. This stagnation helps nobody, so why does it persist? Why do people go to a website for asking questions when they shut out the answers in their minds? Why can't a Christian ask an atheist about their belief system calmly? Why can't a republican talk to a homosexual about their lifestyle? We would all learn so much together if we just talked to one another, asked questions, so why don't we?
14 AnswersPolitics4 years ago2000 people make fun of my voice on a daily basis, please help.?
I read the announcements at my high school, and I have a very "interesting voice". Basically, I sound like the host of a bad country radio station, and I talk loud enough that I broke one of the PA speakers with my voice. How do I fix my voice so the 2100 students stop talking crap about me? Should I fight for my dignity?
