I received a record/cd/cassette player a couple of years ago for Christmas. It’s from Clas Ohlson so I thought it would probably just be a cheap and cheerful gift but the speakers are great and the cd/cassette plays well. However my records seem to be playing a little bit too fast on 33rpm. There are no other options except 45 rpm and I can’t afford to fix it myself because I’m no expert and I would just break it. I don’t have the money to get it checked out yet either since Christmas is coming up soon. If anyone else has had this problem with the same product or knows how to fix it that would be much appreciated.

My hamster will eat almost anything including her own poop, however she will not eat fruit or vegetables. I ve tried carrots, peas, apple, broccoli, grapes etc but she just takes it out of my hand and throws it off her ladder.

She did eat dandelion leaves but only when they were dried up in the sun first, do they just prefer crunchy foods over juicy foods? What else can I try? Thanks!

I have two 10 month old female guinea pigs. My mum says I have to keep them in the "dining room" but I want to make them feel like they're a part of the family. Nobody really goes in the dining room because we don't usually eat in there unless it's a special occasion. The only time the guinea pigs are around humans is when someone walks past, or when I take them to my room to play. They seem a lot brighter and happier in my room, so I asked my mum if I could perhaps keep them in there with me. I'm in there all the time except when I eat or if I'm at school, but as soon as I'm finished with those I'm right back up there again. My mum said "I don't care how clean it is, I don't want them up there." But that's what she said when I got my gerbils. They lived a long life since I convinced her to let me keep them in my room. But I don't think it'll work again with the guinea pigs. I know how to keep them from smelling, but keep them warm at the same time. But I don't know how to convince my parents to let me have them up here with me. Please help. Thanks. :)

Okay, my cat got in a fight and won but came back with a sore face. The cat outside still wants to fight and Is waiting for him on the gate. We can't shoo it away because it comes back. My cat Is an outdoor cat and will NOT poop or pee inside. He really needs to go to the toilet but my mum and dad said we have to keep him in so he can heal. How do I let him go to the toilet?

I play the sims 3 pets for Xbox 360 and I recently adopted a puppy. He was walking around the house doing nothing and my sim interrupted him and then she scolded him! I got them up to being best friends and she scolded him a lot of times without me telling her too and now the friendship bar is in the red zone. Why did she do this??

I have a fish tank thats about the size of my finger tips to my neck and i was wondering if, because i don't like artificial decor in my aquariums, could my goldfish still live in the water if i put some weeds from my garden in. Also will they oxygenate the water for my fish? Another thing, are there any other home made things i can make for the fish? They're quite big fish and i want something very easy to make that wont harm them in any way. Thanks 😊

My mum and dad have said that I can get a pair of guinea pigs, yay! I asked my mum when I would be getting the money for them and she said I can have it on my birthday. Seems okay right? Wrong! My birthday is in December and its only July now! Thats 5 months away and I can't wait that long. I'm not spoiled or anything like that but I really want my piggies soon because I asked 3 months ago. I asked my mum if I could get them a little bit earlier about an hour ago but all she said was "Ask your dad." she ALWAYS says that. So I asked him and he said maybe. They already think I'm responsible enough, so what can change that maybe to a definate yes? Thanks for all answers! :)

I was showing m brothers gf my newt and put him back and my mum shouted me so I went over to her and forgot to put the lid back on the tank. He seems to have escaped throughout the night and is nowhere to be seen! I can't tell my parents that I lost him in the house because they would FLIP and I'm already in enough trouble as it is (long story) if anyone knows how I could find him please tell me! Thanks a lot!!!

For the past week I have been having the same dream: my next door neighbour has a white German shepherd puppy, every day I stroke him through the gate not knowing that they're watching and listening to me each time. I say to him: I wish you were mine! (I don't currently own a dog btw) then they decide to give him too me as a gift, and for some strange reason, I called him Kujo. What does this mean?!

I have a small frog, no less than the size of my pinky fingernail (it lost all of its tail about 3 weeks ago) and I have it in a container with shallow water and lots of mud. I put in some bugs that I found, you know those tiny white jumping bugs, and he just won't eat them! So I put some very tiny wood lice in there, perfect size, and he won't eat them either! He won't eat mosquito larvae, small bloodworms, or any small bugs. What am I supposed to feed him now!? Thanks :)

I know it's a frog not a toad although I do have a toadlet in there with it, it randomly started to climb up the tank and hopped down, then climbed up again. Could it be a tree froglet? It's about the size of my little finger nail and is losing the last part of its tail. What kind of frog is it? Thanks.

My gerbil sandy hasn't been himself lately, he's not eating or drinking he's not playing and all he wants to do is sleep. He NEVER used to let me pick him up or stroke him or he would CHOMP really hard and draw blood but now he does without biting. He's about 2 years old. When i put him on the floor he starts shaking. If you listen closely in the video he makes this noise that sounds like he's eating, but he isn't eating at all, not even treats. He isn't as fast anymore and he had crust on his eyes the other week. Yesterday he was happy and he would run about but today it's the opposite. He is really skinny compared to yesterday. I remember him finding a really old and stale cheerio and eating some. Could it be that or is he dying?? :'(he seemed fine after the crust in The eye, warm water helped open them because the crust glued his eyes shut.

My mum and dad said I might be able to buy myself a hamster for my birthday, I have a name and some toys / accsessories for her (I'm getting a girl) but I don't know if I should get her from Pets At Home or another owner on preloved. If I get her from pets at home then I'll have to get her as a baby to tame her, but if I get her from preloved she may be tame already. I live in the UK so I can't go to pet smart or petco because I don't live near them. Where should I get her from? Thanks.

I was with a friend at at pond, and we came across some tadpoles, they're black with eyes on top of their heads. i have no idea what they are (frog or toad) but if they're toad then i know how to look after them as I've had them before. At the moment I'm feeding them boiled then frozen lettuce but when they sprout lets, they can eat the bloodworms in their tank. I haven't seen the spawn because they were already hatched when we found them, we tried to look for some but had no luck. If anyone knows which tadpoles they are it would help a lot. Thanks!

I have 2 gerbils, sandy and digger. Sandy is the more dominant one. Sandy often sits in the food bowl and eats all the food, and doesnt let digger eat from it. Sandy drops tiny pieces of food into the sawdust for his brother to eat, but not very often, and the pieces that he drops aren't enough to feed digger. I've tried to put sandy in another cage at certain times for digger to eat, but he doesn't eat. I have no idea what to do. Please help me!
