I think HSnde should be hande, Tyran should be Tyrann, and WillkŸr should be Willkur. I don't speak any German, and I can't tell if this means

I have some Ag+ that my parents were using for some sort of filter that they sold. I know that if you mix Mg+ with silica sand you get silicon that you can make solar panels and what not with.

If I mixed Ag+ with silica sand and heated it, would the same thing happen? Or would some poisonous explosive gas kill me?

If you can't make silica with it, is there any other fun thing to do with Ag+, I think it was expensive and don't want to waste it.

I just downloaded Cabal online, and now whenever I start it my firewall (comodo) warns me that cabalmain.exe is trying to take over seemingly random applications. Its already tried to take control of java, my graphics cards executable, my antivirus program, and a couple other completely unrelated things.

Does that sound like virus behavior or a hacker, or is it normal? Has anyone had experience with executables doing things like this?

I've been blocking the attempts and the game runs fine except that it keeps minimizing it to ask if I want to block it.

I was introduced to the concept of a post scarcity economy a while back, but it took me two months to really accept it as correct because it goes against everything I've been taught and I kept trying to find holes in the theory to justify our current system, so I decided to try to write an essay that gives a good introduction and attempts to patch some of those holes for those being introduced to it.

Is "William Abaris" a good pen name? I'm gonna use it mainly for writting essays on socio political theory and the obtaining of Nietzsche's Ubermensche, and I have the same name as a musician and Canadian politician.

I've said some dumb things, and some radical things. Anarchy and what not. I've made no effort to hide my tracks (but not too obvious, I don't go around posting my middle name or anything) and my email address could be easily traced back to me. Are employers likely to find any of the stuff I've posted right now? Ten years from now? Obviously they aren't supposed to care, but they probably do.

Fire clay is this stuff that can be used to make fire bricks, which can withstand high temperatures.

What I want to know is, if you have some silica and some alumina lying around, can you mix them together and have a fireclay for making a kiln or something? Or does it require some wierd dopants or machines?

I know the stuff is cheap, but I want to know if they can be made someplace where shipping charges are really high. Er... Mars, to be exact.

You ever notice how discussing religion and politics just makes everyone involved look stupid and get angry? I mean, if you have a legitimit question like who was churchill or what lead to atheism in China, great, but when someone asks something that boils down to "athiests are dumb" or "democrats are dumb" it just waistes time and distracts from harder questions.

By all means, saying your dumb opinion is extremely important, its how all of the good ideas get raised to the top and the bad ones sink to the bottom, but thats what forums are for.

What gasses do most varieties of plants take in under average conditions?

Obviously they need CO2 and O2 for photosynthesis and aerobic cellular respiration, but do they need the other gasses present here on earth like Nitrogen which they already take in through their roots? What pressures do they need to be in?

Any info, or where I could find such info, is much appreciated. My end goal is to know the exact amount of gasses that would need to be maintained in a greenhouse with irregular external conditions (like on Mars).

I was playing some avenged sevenfold solos (im getting quite good, technically, my music theory is crap) and noticed it didn't sound quite as cool as it should, then I noticed that ever obnoxious "8va" is above it, trouble is I'm playing on the highest notes of the high E string, I'm guessing they're playing it on a 7 or twelve string or something? Or is this what that odd little blue "capo" think that I bought four years ago and forgot about is for? When I put it on it doesn't change anything but open notes.

I've noticed it in a lot of other solos and it really bugs me.
