In a historical movie, two knights on horseback start from rest 95 m apart and ride directly toward each other to do battle. Sir George's acceleration has a magnitude of 0.18 m/s2, while Sir Alfred's has a magnitude of 0.26 m/s2. Relative to Sir George's starting point, where do the knights collide?

I've had my HP dv5 laptop for about a year, and just recently the speakers stopped working. The strange thing is, when I plug something into the audio jack (such as headphones, auxiliary speakers, etc...) those devices work fine and the sound comes through perfectly.

Has anybody experienced a similar issue to this, and found a solution to the problem, because it really is annoying.

I recently bought a USB 2.0 Maxtor external hard drive (640 gb), however my computer cannot read it. I've tried plugging it into three different ports, and it still won't read. I've also tried to format it but when I enter into disk management my external hard drive doesn't show up.

At this point I'm lost and don't know what to do..please help??

I recently got in a little scrape with a friend of mine. To me it seemed like the damage was minimal but the body shop somehow found $1055.00 worth of things to fix.

My friend drives a chevy, and the part above his front-left tire got bent inward a little towards the headlight. The headlight it self also may have bent a little.

I know this is pretty vague but I'm not sure of any other way to describe it. The headlight and turn signal work fine, and the car runs fine, it is simply a small bend. In your opinion, how much should this cost?

I'm hoping on going to the University of Michigan next year, and I was wondering if for my second year at the university I would be considered a resident of Michigan since by the time I reach this second year, I will have been living in Michigan for a year already. Thanks.

I got a parking ticket on February 6th in Columbus, Ohio. I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I mailed them my appeal on the 11th. So, how long will it be before I get a response?

Just something I started wondering about in the last few seconds of my life.

I've just finished reading Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, and I'm looking for another great book to read (not necessarily by Jane Austen).

I took out Dune, by Frank Herbert, from my local library, but I plan on trying to read Great Expectations, Love in the Time of Cholera, and War and Peace at some point this year. If you guys and girls have any other recommendations for an avid reader, I would greatly appreciate them.

My friend and I are going to Montreal this summer, and we're not really huge clubbers. What are some basic tips/things we should bring to the club? What kind of lines, if any, can we expect?

My friend and I are going to Montreal, and although we can speak french decently well, its not enough to hold a pleasurable and intelligent conversation.

I just got a new laptop and it came with windows vista....but its obviously slowing down my computer. I'd like to switch my OS to vista, if its not too difficult. I'm pretty good with computers so I might be able to handle it if there's not too much to do.

I live in northeast ohio, so anything around there works.

This winter my best friend and I are going to Montreal for a few weeks to experience the festival there. To anybody who has been to Montreal during this time, or anybody who lives there, any advice on places to go and things to see, (especially night life...we'll both be 19 by then..)

Who else hates or dislikes Twilight, and is disgusted by how well it sells. I could go on, but I'll leave the ranting to you. Also, please no comments by petty, 14 year-old fangirls, there are enough obsessive Twilight questions on this forum already.

I say 11-5, despite the difficult schedule. The o-line (one of the best in the league last year, allowing under 20 sacks all season) has had another year to mesh and with the new addition of shaun rogers to the d-line, the running game hopefully shouldn't be as effective against us as it was last year. any other opinions?
