Tonight I left work, got into my montero...turned the key and nothing...I mean nothing,no lights, sounds....nada. I made a call for someone to come and help. While waiting i opened the hood, looked at the battery, then got back in the car...i was looking at my light switch and turned it...the lights came on!! So I thought....hey....try and start it...and it started!!! Any ideas what the hell happened???? My stereo now requires a code to reset other then that everything seems normal.

When i was living in India one of the aunties always served sliced green chilies with the food. I cannot for the life of me get this right! Are the chilies in white vinegar or maybe lemon juice?? Anyone know?? I do know that they were in a clear liquid. Sliced chilies and clear liquid...thats it!

I got a check engine light on my Montero...took it to Auto Zone and this was the code. Does anyone have any ball park idea of the cost to repair this?

Is it bad luck for the bride to make her own wedding cake? I love to decorate cakes and was wondering if its a bad idea to do my own...not that i'm superstitious or anything...hehe. Also, my fiance is Hindu so I need to know from that perspective too.

In Salt Lake City Utah there is a place called La Frontera. They make the best chile verde in the world! Anyone know the recipe???? I know its a stretch...but Im living in CA now and have not been able to find a close subsitute. :,,(

Now that I have some good aloo gobi recipes. I also need a recipe for the little green chilies to serve with it. :)

This is what I know......

they are the small green chilies that are very typical to indian cooking. She put them in either vinegar of lemon juice. Then in the fridge. They taste soooo good with the aloo gobi!! I have tried to make them but mine just don't taste the same. Damn!! Why wasnt I born in India!!! hehe

I have tried to replicate this recipe but cannot. Sadly she did not speak much english....so we had a barrier when it came time to write it down. It was a drier sort...no gravy. She did not use tomatoes either. Does anyone out there have a yummy recipe I can try??? Thanks!!!
