My girlfriend feels that she thinks about sex too often and its cheating us out of a real connection. I don't feel this way at all about it and I enjoy the fun, both of which she knows.

Any ideas on how to make her feel better about this?

* I do help her with her 'needs' as often as I can and we do spend plenty of time together (usually a few entire day dates each week)

She says that she has too large of a sexual appetite, and she feels bad for me. She says that she thinks about it too often and she thinks that she is cheating me by being sexually focused so often.

We do spend the majority of the time doing the typical bf&gf things, but how do I get her to not feel so bad about it all?

Here's the thing.

I confessed by love for her after our long distance relationship bit the dust, just because I just had to get it off my chest. Now I call her up (still good friends) and she sounds like she's got something on her mind. I ask her what's up. She says that she brokeup with her boyfriend (she always defined it as a dating friends, nothing serious...why? IDK).

I had a feeling that wasn't it at all, because she did it herself and it was a mutual breakup from my understanding. She starts talking about how her ex-bf's ex was diagnosed with lukemia and he was wrecked over it, because he still loved her...and how it got her thinking.

She then goes on to say that she is having a hard time saying what she wants to say. I ask her to try, because I'm a bit lost. She asks if I remember my confession of love a couple weeks ago. I answer "yes". She says, "well, same here"...it was so lacking in romantic tone, I didn't understand. I asked, what do you mean? She stops a moment.
