I am back dating again after a 20 year loveless marriage and have hopes that there will be someone to share the second have of my life. I love my kids and have done the best to be a great parent. I work in a law firm that is why I can be helpful to those with questions concerning child support, custody or other marital issues. I can also field any lawyer joke! LOL I am sensitive, heart centered and compassionate and love to hike, take yoga or aerobic classes and I can kickbox with the best of them! Be well and remember.. the joy is in the journey.

  • How would I look up case law dealing with child support modification after the child begins college?

Is there an appendix in the child support calculations giving specific formula or a case law citing reduction based on fewer time at home with custodial parent?

  • Match dating: Profiles that are too Much!?

I am fun-loving beyond belief, but am turned off my a guy's profile that talks about sex and arousal non-stop.

This guy put me over the top tonite. He said that he loves when he sees a woman in a mall turns his head with the snap-click of her high heels on the marble floor. He wants someone who will make love any time... any place... and is SEXY about it.. would make my lunch....

and let us not forget.. she should "have a waistline you can see in a 1 or 2 piece bathing suit."

This guy is 56. Common. Please someone tell me that this stuff is crazy?

p.s. I am not being defensive. I look good in a bathing suit and will be passionate and sensual with the right partner.

Does this guy have to get a thumbs down?!!

  • Way to make money?

I've been on an dating service ... can I say... Match service. for a while and the profiles are just plain bad. One I say today prompted me to re-write it and send it (respectfully) to the originator advising him that his frequent reference to sex and arousal was a bit of a turn off for a lot of women. In good time, was my recommendation. Anyway, I think he really liked the softer sell version that I came up with and may use it to see if he can get his goals met...Anyway, I was thinking that I could make some money helping others do the same? Is there a restriction from my soliciting people thru Match. Or any other ideas. My re-write was really good!

  • Too honest on a job interview?

I knew I was doing very well on the interview when the salary questions came up. I told him what I make now (completely honest) and also added that I realize it is below the competitve salaries in my line of work. Since then I have found out that it is very common to exaggerate your salary by 5K to 10K in order to get the employer to come even higher than that. Was I too honest?

  • Who wants to date me?

Thanks for the great insites that you all have given to me about some issues that were just a little foreign. After all, I have not dated for 20 years! but I want to say that thanks to you, i have learned that it is ok if men I date look and admire others (it's no offense to me cause I am great) and that if they are obnoxious about it, it is their loss! In the meantime, there have been a lot of men who have been kind enuf to tell me straight not to be too sensitive about it and a couple of awesome women who have clearly established boundaries but dont' get "prickly" about every objectionable move on the part of their man. I really feel like I am ready to date without hang-ups. and you all should get 10 points!!!!!
