Specifically, I want showy (for curb appeal) perennials/bulbs to go at the base of a new, small Evans Cherry tree. Moist soil (clay), west exposure (lots of sun and wind).

He is fawn and white. He has a pink nose and a short, twisted tail due to a congenital defect. He is sweet and active, not aggressive. He's not a Pit Bull but some people fear that he is a fighter. I don't want a name that encourages fear. He is a rescue and is my new running buddy.

In my personal office, three walls are pale grey, the carpet is darker grey. The furniture is black and dark grey. My desk top has lighter purple and blue laminate. There is no natural light, just fluorescent bulbs. I manage a service department at a college. Should I put anything on the big, purple wall behind me or just decorate the rest of the office?

I have a Royal Daulton Lambethware (heavy china) tea pot. My daughter accidentally put the lid on backwards and now its stuck. I'm not sure how to get it off without breaking it. Ideas?

We have a new computer for the kids which has Vista on it. For word processing they use MS Works. My son came home with his memory stick and a document he had been preparing at school in Word on an XP system. He opened the document, edited it, and saved it but it will not open on either system again. The error message says that the path does not exist. Is the document lost forever?

Mom and Dad have bought a country home. They are renovating the large, main bathroom. The new fixtures are white and quite transitional.

The floor will be large, chocolate-brown tiles.
