  • GIve me some info on Arizona State University?

Well I got a full scholarship for ASU if I apply and get admitted. I have heard nothing about the school, and was wondering if you could give me some info and your opinions if I should go there or not.

I currently live in FL and am hoping to get into UF and/or FSU

How does ASU compare to these two schools?

I'm not completely sure what I want to major in yet, but I'm thinking something in business.

Thanks, any info is really appreciated

  • Help Integrate a problem?

I've been working on this problem for a while now and I just can't figure it out

    Integrate (2x^2+4x+22)/(x^2+2x+10)

I divided it out then I multiplied by (x^2-2x-10)/(x^2-2x-10) and then started using partial fractions but then I still couldn't get it.

Do i have to use partial Fractions again, or is there something I'm missing?

You don't have to show all the work I just need a hint!

    Thanks

  • College Essay & Special Characters?

I wrote my college application essay for UF. When I went to post it on their site, all my quotation marks and apostrophes show up as little boxes. It did say to avoid special characters such as underlined, bold, italics, and quotes.

I was told that quotes are what help to make your topic specific and are a good idea. Is there a better way to write quotes without quotation marks? Or does it not really matter, will they be able to understand what it means? Also, all my contraction words such as "don't" and "they'll" show up with boxes in between. Do I need to write it out as Do not and they will?

  • Computer Graphics Class?

What kindof stuff do learn in a high school Computer Graphics class? What programs do you use?

I recently made my schedule and signed up for this as an elective, because I didn't have many other choices. However, I do think I'll find it interesting.

  • Riding lessons in St. Augustine/Jax?

I'm moving to St. augustine soon, and I'm looking for a reasonably priced barn that offers riding lessons. Does anyone know of a place in 32092 or 32259 or anywhere near there? Preferable $30 or under per hour, and English.

    Thanks

  • Taking cat on long road trip- Help!

In just a few days, we'll be moving from Maryland to Florida. We're taking two vans. We have a cat and a dog. The dog will be fine, but we don't know what to do with our cat. The only times she's been in the car was for trips to the vet, and she'd meow her head off.

What's the best thing to do for her? Should we separate the dog and cat? Should we keep her in a cage? What about at the hotel-Should we keep her in her cage there too?

I've heard about a Calming spray-does that actually work?

Any advice please and thank you!

  • Florida State or UF?

I'm moving to florida before my senior year, and I'm starting to apply to colleges there now. I think my top two are FSU and UF, and third is UCF.

I have no clue which one i would rather go to! (Assuming i could even get into both)

I have no idea what i want to major in yet, so looking at schools based on what has better programs in what i want to do doesn't really help,

although im thinking about possibly doing something in business. I've also considered the medical field. yeah i know...totally different things..

    Any input on these schools?

  • DayCare Assistant Teacher Interview-Help!?

I'm 16 and I applied for a job at Celebree, a daycare/preschool center for an assistant teacher, just last week. They responded very quickly and set me up for an interview in two days and I'm SO nervous! She made it sound like they were pretty desperate for assistant teachers, and said that my interviewer will be asking me a lot of questions.

Honestly, I don't have too much experience working with kids, but I love kids, and I loved the times I did have when I got to work with them. I'm afraid my short list of work experience with kids will seem pathetic. Anyways, What can I expect the interviewer will ask me? I'm pretty sure I won't be doing too much work with the kids, mostly helping the teachers plan and execute activities

    Thanks so much!

  • Transfering Videos from Camcorder to Computer- No Sound?

I have a Sony Handycam, model DCR-HC26. I've installed the program that comes with the camcorder (Picture Package v1.5.1) , and I am now trying to get videos off my cam to the computer. I am using the Video Capturing tool. the video is there, but there is no sound. As it is "capturing," sound does come out. But when I look at it later, there is none. Speakers are up, no mute. Does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?

    Thanks

  • Renting Rooms in a house to college students?

I'm going off to college in less than two years and I've been thinking about where I want to live. I want to live in a dorm, buy my dad says no. He suggests that he would buy me a house and rent our rooms to college students. I've never heard of anyone doing this and i thought it sounded unsafe and a pain. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with either renting out rooms in a house or if you rented a room in a house.

    Thanks
