  • Snowblower throwing some snow short?

My brand new Toro snowblower is throwing the majority of the snow about 30 feet, but as it’s doing that it’s also throwing the lower portion of snow (a much smaller amount) only a couple of inches. Is that normal or should I contact the service department? Thanks.

  • Will road salt and gravel hurt snowblower?

I have a large 2-stage snowblower. My question is if the pile of snow at the end of the driveway from the township plows that has salt and gravel mixed in with the snow could damage the auger (steal) or impeller on my machine? Thanks.

  • Will a snowblower make it up a fairly steep and long driveway?

My pick up with plow broke down today. I’m thinking of replacing it with a 24 inch width, 20 inch intake, 6 h.p. self propelled push behind Toro snowblower. My driveway is long at about 475 feet and half of it has a fairly steep incline (about 22 degree angle) and is not paved (gravel). I’ve never used a snowblower before but I’m tired of the costly maintenance of the truck. Should a snowblower be able to handle a steep driveway and would it help to put chains on the wheels? Thanks

p.s. It snows frequently here and  is usually over 10 inches.

  • 2009 Cadillac CTS won’t start?

Yesterday, the brakes were really tight and the steering also was really tight, but I managed to drive it home. Today, when I went to start it it was completely dead (no inside lights, bells or nothing). Is there a chance it could just be the battery or do I need to have it towed to the shop for a complete diagnosis? Thanks.

  • Transmission fluid high?

On Monday, I had a transmission fluid flush performed on my car. Yesterday, I checked the fluid level on the dipstick and noticed that it was extremely high (about 3/4 inch above the full mark). Do I need to go back to the mechanic and ask them to drain it down to the full mark (can being overfilled damage the transmission or it’s seals) or should I just leave it alone? Thanks.

  • Dying Trees?

Three of my trees (3 White Oaks and one Blue Spruce) are dying. The have white flowerlike fungus on their branches and are loosing their leaves (and needles on the Spruce) starting close to the trunk working it’s way out. I have bought a tree bug and fungus killer at Lowe’s to apply to them, but I am not sure if there’s a better way? I am desperate to save these trees.. Thank you.

  • I accidentally drove for 8 minutes in second gear instead of drive.?

Today I drove my car, which is an automatic, for about 8 minutes in 2nd gear instead of the regular drive gear. Could that have done some damage to the transmission? Thanks.

  • Question about physical appearance?

I know that this is a ridiculous question but I am going through Chemotherapy right now and it has me looking kind of bad right now. I really would like to know how bad I look to other people. Is there a website that can analyze a picture of my face and show me what I might look like to other people? In the form of a different face than mine? Thank you.

  • Sick Ornamental Trees?

The bark on my trees is covered in a white fungus. The trees have only a small section of leaves- the rest is bare. Can someone please tell me how to save these trees before they are completely dead or is it already too late.
