I have a 2011 bmw 320d , after long journey today there was smoke from manifold and a smell of oil. I changed oil two weeks ago and did spill a bit but it should be well cleared now. At back of engine there seems to be some oil,  it doesn't look fresh . Any suggestions thanks 

I have an oil fired rayburn cooker , I find it a bit noisy at times. I'm wondering can I change the burner inside it to a wick burner which is meant to be alot quieter? Thanks 

My 2011 bmw 320 has 163,000 miles on it , I bought the car with 155,000 on it  just wondering when it would be due a timing chain change? Last owner wasn't sure when it was changed last, I would presume it has been changed at least once, any help thanks

Anytime its any way windy there is a vibration noise  coming from roof, I have a spinning top on my chimney so that should eliminate that.  Its getting very annoying I've been up to the attic and on the roof and I can't figure out what it could be , any suggestions please  , thanks 

I'm from Ireland,  ok I lost my driving licence for drink driving for 3 years , I had a drink problem at the time I went to rehab soon after and havevt drank since, life is alot different today we all make mistakes. Anyway in Ireland if it was your first offence you can apply to get licence restored after 2 years , which I intend to do on 1st of june this year , I have have a 1 year old daughter and want to get back to work , licence is essential as I live in countryside, does anyone have experience of applying for restoration of licence? If so how successful is it ? Thank you

Hi everyone  , ok so I'm from Ireland and lost my driving licence due to drink driving ok I accept a stupid thing to do , I realised alcohol was a problem and went to rehab and havevt drank for some time now  , anyway I'm applying to get my licence back early as I got a three year ban and can apply to get it back after 2 years. The only thing I'm worried about i was out with a friend one night we were walking home late one night when stopped by police , we were standing talking to someone they thought we were acting suspicious and asked our names we refused as we hadn't committed an offence as that's the law in Ireland,  so they took us for a drug search neither of us had anything and were not charged but would that go against me kn trying to get my licence back? Would that be seen as something that could prevent that? Any help would be appreciated,  I'm not one to be in trouble so just curious , thanks for your time

My friend an I were waiting on a lift home after a night out the cops came along and asked us a few questions they thought we were acting suspicious do they took us into station for a drug search, neither of us obviously had drugs on us, we weren't charged with anything and were let go once we were searched, I've never been in trouble before so just wondering afterwards they cant charge me with anything ? They took my name an address but said they weren't charging us , just concerned that's all we had few drinks taken but weren't drunk or aggressive

I have been banned for four years I had an accident no one was involved or hurt, I wasn't breathalised but I admitted to having a few drinks, can I appeal ? An do I have any chance of getting it overruled? Thanks

I had a few drinks last night an drove home okI know I should not have been driving I crashed the car into a wall I had to notify the guards this morning as they came on the scene after I left. I admitted I was drinking as I fled the scene I wasnt arrested I made a statement what do you think could happen now?
