Drug searched nothing found on me?

My friend an I were waiting on a lift home after a night out the cops came along and asked us a few questions they thought we were acting suspicious do they took us into station for a drug search, neither of us obviously had drugs on us, we weren't charged with anything and were let go once we were searched, I've never been in trouble before so just wondering afterwards they cant charge me with anything ? They took my name an address but said they weren't charging us , just concerned that's all we had few drinks taken but weren't drunk or aggressive
